Club3D HDMI Male Male to DisplayPort 1.2 Female Female Active Adapter with USB Powered 4K@60Hz (CAC-1331)

特殊な接続方法ですが4k60Hzで問題なく映っているので参考までに PS5を本体付属のHDMIケーブルで4k対応のHDMIスプリッターに繋ぎ、一つ目は配信で使うPCのキャプチャーボードへ。 もう一つは本製品に接続し、その後さらにDisplayportセレクターに接続して、片方はDisplayportケーブルで4kモニターへ接続。 もう片方はDisplayportケーブルでPCから上記セレクターへ繋いで、4kモニターでPS5をプレイ時や、PC操作時に都度切り替えています。 これで問題なくPS5は4k60Hzで動作しているので満足です。 耐久性についてはこれからです。 ちなみにPS5→本製品→Displayportケーブルで4kモニター これでも4k60Hzで動作するので シンプルな接続でも大丈夫です。

最初に買ったClub 3Dの製品は画面が映りませんでしたが、この製品はちゃんと映りました。コピーガードの関係かもしれません。 たまたまかもしれませんがUSBは接続しなくてもHDMIだけの接続で映すことができました。 耐久性は不明です。

タイトルの通りですが、HDMIからDisplayPortに変換してPS5で120Hz(FHD)表示に成功しました。 元は、今使っているディスプレイ(最大144Hz)でHDMI接続でもPS5で120Hz表示が出来ると思ってたのですが実際120Hz表示できるゲームを最近プレイし始めてみて120Hzできるのならやってみようと思い120Hzモードを選択したところ信号エラーで画面が真っ暗になり表示できなかったのでディスプレイのメーカーのサポートに聞いたところこのディスプレイのHDMI入力がPS5からの120Hz信号(FHD)に対応できていないとのことだったので、ディスプレイ側のHDMIが対応していないのだったらDisplayPort信号ならもしかして…と思い色々調べ検索してこちらの商品にたどり着きました。 結果見事大成功！120Hz(FHD)でゲームが遊べてます。遅延もありませんし、ゲーム上での120Hzモードでも画質はそんなに落ちてない感じで遊べて最高です。 USBでの給電は使用せずとも異常ありません。 またこのメーカー、Club3Dはオランダに本社を置いているそうで、ぱっと出の怪しそうな企業じゃないところも購入の決め手でした。 まだ購入してほんとに間を置かずのレビューなので耐久性などは分かりませんが、もしすぐ動作がおかしくなるようだったら追記でレビューします。 評価の星一つを落とした点は、価格です。 他製品と比べたり相場を調べたわけではありませんが、個人的に少しお高めだと思ったので手軽さの面で評価を落としました。 が、結果が良かったので内心は星5です。

DP→HDMIまたは逆の変換ケーブル（アダプタ）って、かなり品質が違うのですよね（所謂相性）。 何度か痛い目見ていたため、安定品質のClub3D製品を購入。 （価格は品質の証拠としてキニシナイ。） そもそも、DP→HDMIは多いのですが、HDMI→DPは種類が少ない。4K/60Hz対応となると、ホント限られる。 映像ケーブル類はほぼClub3D製品で揃えていて、今まで問題起きた事ありません。 必要な方は是非。

HTC VIVE Proがノートパソコンに繋がりました。 VIVE Pro 発売当時の変換器ではNGだったのに技術の進歩はすばらしい！

DP出力をHDMI入力に替えるケーブルはいくらでも安価であるが、その逆はない。 上記のケーブルを逆につないでも信号は検出されないからディスプレイには何も映らない。 それを解消するためにこのパーツを使う。 HDMI出力と電源供給用のUSBをセットして、DPコネクタ側にDPtoDPケーブルをつなぐだけ。 PCの出力からはもちろん、私の場合はKVMのHDMI出力に使ってますが、問題なく動作。 上手く動かない場合はUSBによる電源供給量を疑った方がいいかもしれない。 値段はそこそこするが、現状しらべてもHDMI出力からのDP入力を実現するためにはこちらしか方法がない。 ちなみにHDMI信号をDPに変換してDP入力となるため、デイジーチェーン対応ディスプレイでDP(out)から別のDP(in)に接続したところ問題なくできた。

This active adapter is working really well for me! It's connected to my M1 Mac Mini's HDMI port so that I can connect it to my TrendNet TK-240DP dual monitor KVM switch that only supports DisplayPort. The monitor connected to this Club3D adapter goes to sleep properly, unlike the other identical monitor connected with a passive USB type C adapter for DP alt-mode. (Sleep mode issues are common with DisplayPort...) When both monitors are sleeping properly (courtesy of the other computer on the KVM before flipping back to the Mac), the monitor on the Club3D adapter takes maybe two seconds longer to wake up, but that's really no big deal to me. In short: if you need a specialty adapter like this, then naturally there's a lot in the chain that could go wrong... but there's a good chance this adapter will come through for you. Well worth a shot!

With the help of this now i can run 120hz on my PS5 without the need of HDMI 2.1

I was skeptical at first that such thing was possible, but turns out you can achieve 4K60Hz from a PS5 to a monitor that only supports this resolution and refresh rate using display port.

I have tried the CAC-1331 with my Acer XV273K display and Radeon RX 580 (using CAC-2068 cable). The CAC-1331 can do 4096×2304 but some timings cause a problem. For example, the native timing ([email protected]) of the 21.5″ LG UltraFine 4K display (the older non-Thunderbolt version of the LG UltraFine 4K display) does not work through the CAC-1331 even though the XV273K can accept the timing from HDMI 2.0 or DisplayPort. Some CVT-RB timings for 4096×2304 do work (50Hz, 51Hz, 53Hz, 57Hz, 58Hz) but some do not (52Hz, 54Hz, etc.) Some timings have the wrong colors (3840×2160 594MHz has wrong colors but 3840×2160 at 533MHz is correct). I could not get any 5120×1440, 5120×2160, or 5120×2880 timings to work even with refresh rate set as low as 30Hz. I am a little disappointed. I would expect any timing to work as long as the pixel clock is 600 MHz or less (the limit of HDMI 2.0 at 8 bpc and no chroma sub sampling). It would be cool if it could (but it can't) support higher pixel clock with chroma sub sampling (for example, HDMI 2.0 4:2:0 can do 1200 MHz with 8 bpc; DisplayPort 1.2 is limited to 4:2:2 which can do 1080 MHz at 8 bpc – good enough for 5K 60Hz).

Does not work for output from PS5 to Alienware AW3418DW. All resolutions are unsupported. The cable itself is good quality and solid build.
