Good quality cassoulet
I normally make cassoulet from scratch, and I was a bit sceptical about this product but thought I would give it a try. It is very good, and tastes much the same as homemade cassoulet. One tin contains enough for a full meal for one person and it takes half an hour to cook in the oven. I know some reviewers have liked the product to Heinz beans and sausages - I don't think that is fair, the ingredients are much higher quality.

Bland not flavour
Usually make cassoulet from scratch. This product was awful. The tin had one small piece of scraggy duck and a very small sausage the rest was beans. I'd have been better off with a tin of baked beans for flavour because this was bland. Won't be buying again.

Easier opening
Tin is impossible to open with ringpull. Breaks off every time. End up opening with pliers. Needs attention on canning

Don't expect too much
Disappointing. Mostly tasteless beans and the smallest duck leg I have ever seen. Plus a bit of sausage which, let's face it, is just waste duck meat and bone scraping.
