After trying a supposedly compatible brand that failed miserably with grinding noises and terrible printing went back to Genuine Canon cartridge and the problem immediately went away. One Cartridge can be the price of the 4 required cartridges but if the compatible brands do not work well this seems to be the way to go.

Ordered an OEM product & it did not work in my color printer. Had to get Cannon brand toner for it to work. Not happy that I have to buy their brand which costs more than off brand product.
