Safety Bump Cap with With Reflective Stripes, Lightweight and Breathable Hard Hat Head Protection Cap(Micro,Black)

All parts of the hat are functional but the sewing and proportions are off, the brim was not attached right either. I only planned on wearing it in the roof crawl space for a single job so not a big deal if it isn't cosmetically perfect. It's a bit light weight, the lightest weight bump cap I own actually. Bump caps aren't ANSI hats so I chose this one for the job and comfort, fine for a homeowner, I would not be allowed to wear this at the power plants I work at though. Nylon cloth shell over margarine tub plastic- there is no ARC rating or impact standard in play here. One thing- the design concept pulls my rating up on this hat, the sewing was that bad. Anyway, the micro brim is great for tight spaces. Bump caps with bigger brims (baseball cap styles) often get in the way of over head work, that isn't an issue with this hat. The micro brim is big enough though that it keeps dust from falling into the top of your safety glasses while providing some light bump and penetration protection.

Because I have to wear them for work. I prefer short bibs. I’ve had this for a couples years now. I have hand and machine washed it and it comes out well either way. Highly recommend

I have not actually used this hat yet, but my initial response is I find it well made, comfortable and pretty much what was described is what I have. For what I will use it for, light yard and home, it will be fine. Seller delivered quickly, no complaints. Update: since I purchased this I have used in many times. Great protection for my head, smaller visor may look funny but it makes it more versatile in small spaces. Recommend it, give it many 👍 up.

My granddaughter ordered this for her mom who rides but I think she liked it.
