I have a number Stihl chains saws. This one is cheap and not as good as my others. The purchase price reflects this. Still a good tool, just not as good as my other kit. It has not put me off their products, just made me more aware of what I'm paying for. If you're buying for light use than it's perfect.

This is a great chainsaw. I would have given it 5 stars, but for two issues: 1. It was delivered with instructions in German and Dutch, so I had to resort to the internet to find them in English. 2. In comparison to my Stihl leaf blower and hedge trimmer it is quite hard to start from cold. Btw the instructions say that the preferred starting method is to place it on the ground and put the toe of your boot through the handle. I have average size feet but the toe of my work boot won’t go through the handle. It has to be started between your knees.

I RECEIVED THE CHAINSAW, AND WITHIN TWO WEEKS IT PACKED IN. I RETURNED IT AND HAVE NEVER HAD A REFUND OR EVEN A REPLY, I WILL NEVER BY THIS MAKE OR PRODUCT AGAIN
