Someone commented in a review that this adapter blocks WiFi signal because their smart bulb could not connect, this is not the case, I installed this in my lamp that has a smart bulb and as you can see in my video it worked fine, I suggest they get some WiFi extenders as their bathroom signal sounds very weak. Also, they should get some small steps and an electric screwdriver since they claim it took 40 minutes and it really only takes one minute if there is no cover over the light, and a couple of minutes longer if you need to remove it. That is not meant to come across as criticism or as if I am picking on you, it is simply meant to be friendly advice. Mine really was a case of unscrew the old bulb, screw in the adapter, screw in the new smart bulb. Maybe you have a very awkward fixture or something?
