Awanhe Inground Pool Light, 20W LED with Controller, Remote and APP Control, Color Changing Underwater Swimming Pool Light with 50 Foot Cord

This has been a good replacement for our 110 V halogen fixture that would not seal. I did have the light professionally installed but it could be done by a DIYer. This light is bright enough for our needs and the multiple ways of operating the light make it simple to use. There is a wall mounted switch a remote control and a phone app. It has only been two weeks since we had the light installed so only time will tell about the durability of the light. Pros. Product was delivered as described and works great! If you buy more than one, the same remote works for the other lights and they change to the same modes and frequency of change to color and pattern. It does not come with instructions but the cables are labeled well. Being a 12vdc led lamp, the cord is slightly smaller than the 120vac you are replacing which makes it easier to pull through the conduit. One thing they should mention and is not on the listing, it is on the controller and I have seen where someone complained it became discolored quickly - it should be installed in a waterproof enclosure and not in direct sunlight. Also, the cables from the controller are short, so if you need to mount further away, you will need to use the old 120vac cord from the old light, to make up an extension to the AC input lines. Otherwise, love the light and the functions.

Excellent! But be careful if you splice the old wire to the new wiring. Think this: 20 years under water? What I did was to carefully solder the wires, carefully tape with good tape and cover with liquid tape.. Wait a day for it to dry the tape. For me, this was a perfect replacement for the pool. I came out of this for about $250. Pool guys wanted over $1000.

I have a forty foot kidney shaped pool and it lights it up very nicely. Some nice features that I haven't seen mentioned on other reviews: the app DOES have a schedule function where you can set times to turn on automatically and turn off too. All of the colors worked for me. I've seen others saying only some of the colors light up (I'd recommend those people double check the connections of the Red green and blue wire are securely connected). I did install my controller inside of a PLASTIC junction box to keep it safe from sun fading and the remote control and app still work fine. I had it on max brightness yesterday night and there was no heat coming off the light when I touched the LEDs directly. Over all I'm very happy with it. The low price point was just a bonus. This thing actually works well.

This item was easy to install, however some basic electrical knowledge is necessary. It works beautifully, has a wide color spectrum, includes a poolside remote and works with phone too. We haven't synchronize with music yet but option is available. We were very pleased with this product and we saved more that $1000.00 over what we were quoted from our pool gu!

Update 3 months later. had hoped these were wortht he issue of installing a 150ft line into a pool niche in cold water. Alas, nope... light already started to fail as it now glows very dim but discrnible RED when turned off. Too bad, had hope they might work... they didnt! Were ok for 12 week, but this week *POOF*

Very good quality and beautiful lights

Nice light, for a SPA I would give it 5 stars. Will see how long it lasts but if 3+ years I put it ahead of the named brand that was 2x price and lasted 3-4 years. This has more features with the controller and remote. For a pool (my recess is 6"), some colors are not as strong/bright as I would like so I would give it 4 stars. However as this is a SPA size light, and its my play pool that has the smaller recess/fitting size I am giving it the 5 stars, and I would buy it again even with the colors not as bright in the pool. Overall for ~$200 its worth it
