This was a Christmas gift for my son. He sent me a photo of a steak he slightly overcooked to medium well instead of medium rare (his preference). It was still tasty and juicy and as he put it "soft as a chewy chocolate chip cookie". He loved the name of the company and the quality of the strip steaks and the filet mignons. Old mom appears to have given a gift well liked and appreciated.

New. York strip is a tad chewy. Not worth the price. Have not tried the filets yet. Hopefully they will be better Filets not much better. Would not purchase again

ordered the strip steaks and filet migons for my husband’s birthday. He’s a big grill guy and I figured this would be something he’d actually enjoy. He grilled everything that night and even though I’m not a big meat eater I really liked the migons. Super tender and not heavy at all. He loved the whole set and already told me he wants the exact same thing for Christmas... and next year’s birthday too. Honestly, it’s the easiest gift in the world since I don't need to guess the sizes or returning shirts he doesn’t like or can’t fit into.

I sent this to my sister and brother-in-law because they love thick, well marbled steaks for grilling. Those they received were only an inch thick and they finally chopped them up to make stew. Terribly disappointing holiday gift.
