I carry a SWM DirecTV dish in my RV and set up when I make camp. These finders can be used to align SWM systems but, though low cost, they aren't designed for it. My original finder could pinpoint the satellites but has to be removed to check the signal on the receiver itself. My son has a finder that can stay in the loop while watching TV. I was looking for one that could do that as well. This isn't it. If it is connected, the actual signal doesn't get to the receiver.
