Meditation Cushion & Yoga Prop, 100% Kapok

I bought this thinking I wanted a small floor cushion so that I could sit more comfortably on the floor when playing with my son. It works fine for that, but what really blew me away was how many other uses I found for this thing. First off, it can be used in place of a yoga block or as a small yoga bolster if that's your thing. It is quite firm -- not a pillow, but more like a small, dense bolster. It is comfortable to sit on, but you would not want to lay your head on it to sleep, for example. I also like using this as an extra support when I'm sitting up in bed reading. It's about the size of a loaf of bread, so it's easy to move around without lugging a huge cushion. It retains its shape really well. I have been smooshing it every day and it's only gotten slightly compressed (and I weigh 195 lbs -- a lighter person may not compress it at all). You could easily return it to its original shape by just sitting on it in the opposite direction for a while. I also use this to help stretch out my back and hips. You can use it similar to a foam roller for physical therapy, but of course it doesn't roll (which can be a good thing). I like to lay on top of it and let my back arch backwards over it. It gives you a good, intense stretch. This would also be an awesome bolster for pregnancy -- you could probably find a ton of ways to use this to release tension in your hips or sleep more comfortably. And on top of all that, the fabric has an interesting design. I love this thing!

I read a lot about buckwheat filled cushions and bugs, and I just didn’t want to deal with that in any way. So when I came across this cushion, I figured I would give it a shot. It’s much smaller than I anticipated. But surprisingly, it’s perfect for me. Sturdy and comfortable for my small frame. Just enough lift to help me keep my back straight, instead of slumping during meditation.

I bought this as a gift for my brother. It’s nice and firm and provides the support he needs for his meditation. The design is also nice, it looks just like the picture advertised. However, I cannot give this five stars because it came ripped and stuffing coming out of one end. Easy fix though, I just sewed it up for him to avoid the headache of returns/exchanges. Good as new but would be more of an issue for someone who can’t sew.

So we fight over it. This is the best-very sturdy and gives you excellent alignment. I can sit for so much longer using this pillow. I highly recommend. I love the fabric and options for colors.

Well I thought this would be a great meditation pillow but it's a little narrow and high for me. Not that it's not great, it is.I did see that they made a shorter, wider one. It's nice and stiff. The material and construction seem to be quality and itdoesn't smell bad. This has made a great little side pillow for the couch, husband loves it.

This is a great cushion for yoga, meditation, or even back support in your desk chair. I’ve use it for all of these purposes and I’m very pleased with the results. I have no complaints, it holds up well to heavy use and still maintains its shape.

I totally was please with the purchase in which it was sturdy and comfortable. Love the design and color.

A little smaller than I thought it would be, but it’s great. Firm enough to use as a bolster.
