As someone who's not a professional but takes audio quality seriously, this boom arm delivers exactly what I needed for my home studio setup. Build Quality & Stability: The construction is absolutely solid - no flex, no drift, no gradual sagging over time. Once you position the SM7DB where you want it, it stays there. The springs and joints are clearly engineered to handle heavier microphones without compromise. This feels like equipment that will last for years of regular use. Positioning & Adjustability: The range of motion is excellent, allowing me to position the microphone exactly where I need it for optimal vocal pickup. The joints move smoothly but lock firmly into position. No fighting with the arm during recording sessions or worrying about it slowly creeping out of position. Compatibility Note: One small quirk - the twist-locking nut design can create clearance issues with some XLR connectors. In my case, I needed to add a Shure A26X extension bar to get proper XLR connection clearance with the SM7DB. This isn't really a fault of the PSA1+, more of a compatibility consideration when using certain microphone and cable combinations. Value & Reliability: This boom arm justifies its price point completely. The difference between a quality boom arm like this and cheaper alternatives becomes obvious immediately - no constant readjustments, no worrying about your expensive microphone taking a fall, just reliable performance day after day. 今まで2〜3000円くらいのマイクアームを使っていました。 その時はなんとも思っていなかったのですが、このマイクアームを使ってからあれはなんだったんだって思うくらい衝撃を受けました。 1.歪み、軋みを感じないしっかりした作り 2.止めたいところでしっかり止まる 3.おもったより広い可動域 確かに、マイクアームとしては価格は高めではありますが、その価値を自分は十分に感じました。

コンデンサーマイクは吊り下げ対応製品が多いのですが、ダイナミックマイクを吊り下げられるものはほとんどなくこの製品を選択しました。 XM8500、SM7Bなどのダイナミックマイクを吊り下げて使用しています。 しっかりと支えてくれるので安心感があり、マイクが自重で下がってくることもなく、位置を調整してもスムーズに動き、ピタッと止まってくれるのが便利です。

悪い点はまだ見つからない。

机があってノートパソコンがあって(あるいは携帯) 配信者やるんや！って人にはビジュアルも合わせて向いてるし使いやすい 私のように自作で防音室を作りDTMをやり、パソコン置くために板を設置し、少ないスペースをやりくりする状況では(使えば伝わると思うけど)柔軟さが時に足を引っ張る ただ総合的には旧式よりも使いやすいし取り回しは最高！俺は配信者や！とテンションも上げられる。

マイクを固定する円形の金具が旧モデルよりも大型化してますので、取り付けるマイクの形状によっては干渉する可能性があります。自分はAston Microphones社製品で完全に干渉してしまったので、これを機会にショックマウントを導入して問題は解決しました。 性能については軽量なマイクでも思った場所にピタッと固定できますし、剛性もしっかりしていて今までのマイクアームの中で最高点を付けたいです。

There are few products I've bought that are worth it and this is one of them. I would wait for a sale though

マイクアームの買い替えで購入しました。 SM7Bにプリアンプ（DM1）を組み合わせて使用しています。使い始めて、マイクの悩みがかなり解決しました。高価ですが、迷っているなら購入をお勧めします。 ◾️良かった点 アームが長く、狙った場所にピタリと止まります。 以前のマイクアームは短く、可動域が狭いものでした。設置位置を何度か変えてみましたが、モニターが見えづらくなったり、マイクが遠かったり、うまくいきませんでした。 PSA1+はアームが長く、可動域が広いため、ベストな位置にマイクを固定できます。マイクを口元に近づけられ、音質も向上します。 また、片手で位置調整が出来るため、マイクを使わないときは、傍によけることができます。マイクが邪魔にならず、運用が楽になりました。 ◾️気になった点 SM7BとDM1を組み合わせると、DM1の分だけ上に飛び出ます。気になる方は、SHURE A26X エクステンションバーを組み合わせると、綺麗に収まるのでおすすめです。

I've used quite a few, and this one blows everything out of the water. Noise- absolutely none. A very sensitive mic can barely pick anything up, regardless of how you move it. It also decreases any accidental hits on the table. Of course, it doesn't eliminate it, but no boom arm will. Fluidity - frictionless Functionality - Easy to set up. Can carry a pretty heavy mic. I tried everything from a Rode NT to a heavy Sennheiser mic. No problems. The ONLY thing I wish they'd improved is the limited angle if you're trying to push it back directly, in a straight line. But that's not how a mic should be used anyway, so it's not really an issue. The cable stowaway is fantastic. Build - doesn't get much better than this. It could have done without the huge Rode branding because that can get distracting if you're streaming or on an important call. Bottom line - If you've reached the point where you're doing very serious recordings for paid clients, you just cannot get better than this. It's well worth the high price. There's a reason it's listed as one of the best boom arms in the market.

Replaced my low quality arm with this and it's such a huge difference. Adjusting position is effortless and it just stays exactly where you put it. Nice cable management. Only negative is the huge ugly logo prints on the sleeve.

I never thought I’d fall in love with a collection of metal and springs, but here we are. The RØDE PSA1+ is the Rolls Royce of mic arms. My mic now hovers gracefully in front of me like it’s about to drop some Grammy-winning vocals, even though I mostly use it to sing to 2 people who listen to me (hi mother and dad). It moves like butter. Not like cheap margarine. Real, smooth, expensive butter. Silent, sturdy, and somehow makes me feel more professional than I actually am. Also, setup was so easy I didn’t even have to pretend to read the manual. It clamped onto my desk like it meant business, and hasn’t wobbled, squeaked, or sagged once. Can’t say the same for my posture. Is it overkill for a hobbyist? Probably. Will you feel cooler than you should while using it? Absolutely.
