Major Problems. a. The original Bitaxe has two fan ports. This one has just one, which lead me to believe that this is not 601. b. In matter of one min. is going to overheat mode, regardless the settings adjustments.

Just got one in today to add to my collection of Bitaxes. This one must have been defective as right after setup and added to ckpool, the miner would hash for about 2-3mins and stop. Shares would not progress so I checked the logs and the miner looked to be receiving stratum jobs but no hashing. Updated to 2.70 and immediately started getting 'overheat' errors. Wasn't overclocking, still set at defaults. Oh well, this one will be going back.

Did not take it apart and see if there was the perfect amount of thermal paste but one quick update and up and running all I can ask for!

This is overheating at basic setting of 600 frequency and 1150 core voltage and cannot get past 800 GH/S.
