Do these need to be refrigerated before opening?

No. From the side of the package: "Refrigerate after opening - (then) consume within 7-10 days". Also, for your information, the package I received had a use by date of 6 months after my purchase.

I've been using this oatmilk for years and love the flavor, texture etc. I usually purchase the refrigerated version from my local grocery store but thought that I would give this a try. The product's expiration date was shorter than the refrigerated product, like less than a month. I would still recommend the product but suggest purchasing a smaller quantity due to short shelf life.
