Kink Industries Whitehead Ratchet Mouth Gag

With the "50 Shades of Grey" craze that has been sweeping the female population, many women have begun to expand and explore their sexuality and limits with my wife being one of those many individuals.We picked up the Ratchet Mouth Gag after she saw a video with Marilyn Manson and thought how sexy it must feel and be. She had already tried and utilized an "O" ring gag and absolutely loved how forceable and punishing she felt it was to her.I am not going to lie to you. This device looks amazing but it does not quite function up to its promise.For starters, I work in the medical field. This device is not medical grade. I feel it is poorly constructed and cheap.The device has two metal lips that jut out for the teeth. These metal lips do not have an edge to them and so the device can, and does, easily slip out of the mouth. They only way it will stay in place is if the person bites down. Speaking of which, the metal lips do hit my wife's teeth and she is afraid of cracking a tooth or two on the device.I had to attach silk straps to keep the device in place which ended up causing extreme discomfort as the device was not subjected to be inserted in that manner or pressure.It is great as a visual item but it definitely is not a functional addition to the bedroom.

Wish I'd read the reviews before getting it. I am familiar with Kink's work, and intended to try one of these for a new slave I'm training. Dissappointed. Other complaints valid. This can't be what Kink uses, so not sure why they're pushing it.* Dull in color* Not medical grade stainless* Springs are in wrong place, preventing it from applying necessary automatic expanding ratchet action* Ratchet teeth or not sharp or cut properly so 'hold' is iffy* Gag simply cannot open widely enough to even work unless you use a c-clamp on it to clamp the ears together. Anything less, it can fall out or be spit out easily.Nice paper weight. Get it for a conversation piece to leave on the coffee table when prude guests come over. Other than for entertainment value, you're wasting your money on this one.

Great "conversation piece". Looks cool, that`s it.The reality is it does not stay in the mouth, unless the one wearing it bites down on it with their teeth to hold it in the whole time (not very much fun), it will just fall out. I am going to try putting straps on mine, somehow I hope, just to be able to use it.If I had to do it over I would buy something different.Very disappointed :-(

This is...well, I dont need to say it....anyone viewing thuis should be like minded. However it does tend to pinch the lip and grind the teeth. I didnt intend to cause the lip pain so develiped a fix for that (easy, put it in very carefully and ensure the lip is not pinched) but the grinding on the teeth could cause permanent damage so concerned me. I ended up getting a small and thing rubber teeth guard for her, allowing this to sit on the guard and keep her teeth safe. It gets annoying at times, but i prefer not to damage her unintentionally, and the guard is replaceable. Her teeth are not.

The problem is, all the pictures I have ever seen of this item shows it completely off scale. It is too small. When used, the person that wore it simply opened their mouth a little wider and it dropped right out. I don't know what they are showing in their ads, but it is not what I purchased.

Very happy with purchase, would recommend to all.
