I spent a great deal of time researching smartphones before buying this unlocked One Plus 13R on Amazon. I waited a few days before doing a reiview to make sure everything is good. I bought the 13R because of the camera, a screen I can easily see outdoors, a robust battery, fast charging and price. I love it! Never Settle. Unlocked it should work fine with US carriers. Carriers ask for the IMEI number to check service. If you buy from Amazon, you have a month to return the phone. The One Plus 13R arrives in a sealed box. Its IMEI number is printed on the box exterior. You get the phone, call your providers give them the IMEI number from the box. If they say it won't work you can send the phone back to Amazon unopened. (The One Plus website only gives you two weeks to return.) Once you know you are good to go - open the box, fully charge the phone. (Mine arrived at 41%) This phone comes with it's own charger and cord. Yes it does! As a customer I love that! I have AT&T thru Consumer Cellular. The service is great, you don't have to be a senior citizen and I save money! Consumer Cellular told me just switch my SIM card and service will be fine. The One Plus SIM card tray is different than what I was used to. All my other phones had an open frame tray. The One Plus tray has a plateform. It's fine, just different. I suggest you put the SIM card in first before turning on the phone. I tried importing all my info into the phone without the SIM card. The phone kept wanting the SIM card and my info didn't come in right. (Maybe a rookie mistake) I did a factory reset. Put the SIM in, everything worked great. About 5 days later I couldn't make or receive calls. Everything else was working fine. I called Consumer Cellular from another phone and they talked me thru resetting my network. (I was kind of expecting that that would happen as I had to do that for my previous phone.) I have been fine evere since. There is a feature on the phone called VOLTE you can set for cell coverage. I was confused about it, didn't know what it was and I turned it off as I was focused on 5G. I checked with One Plus and they say leave it on. It is now on : ) My 5G is fine. My calls are fine. This phone is as good as the top brands out there, no worries. Two things I will point out: 1.) I bought the black phone. In my Amazon order it showed the picture of the black phone but the description said the white version. I called Amazon to double check. It was a glitch, I got the black phone I wanted. 2.) Amazon ad for the OnePlus 13R says its camera has Hasselblad lenses. It does not, the One Plus 13 phone has Hasselblad (One Plus 13 is in the $900 range). One Plus 13R has Sony. I was aware of this from all the research I did so I was not concerned. But I can see how this can be disappointing & confusing to customers. Once you know you are keeping any smartphone - buy a good case & a screen cover. I like tempered glass for the touch but the plastic ones are good too.

Been using for a few weeks good phone fast and usable I thought the 13R had magsafe but It doesn't have it for charging so that sucks but other than that the photos are meh but good I came from the iPhone 11 pro max That thing needed to get swept up soon anyways I like the typing experience on the android anyways charging is fast I don't charge it unless I need to sometimes I get bored and want to watch YouTube pretty big screen coming from a iPhone and then to an android it's a big change in phone length cause androids are taller and a little wider but I love this phone I'm glad I bought it

Got this to replace my 8T dude to the power button not working anymore. It's feels different from the previous phones I've owned (6T and 8T). It's heavier for sure, and doesn't feel as slick. The screen IS bigger, and the performance is pretty much the same. The only drawback is the sound. It's not great. The sound is way better on my previous OnePlus phones, and they've guys rid of Dolby for something called "Oreality". I'll have to play with the EQ but for now it's subpar. Other than that the phone is fine. No wireless charging either but I don't mind. The charger it cubes with can charge this thing in an instant. All in all it's an ok phone for the price. But I would've definitely kept my 8T given the choice

Excellent phone. For anyone who's NOT a power user, this phone is every bit as good as the OnePlus 13 (flagship). All the bells and whistles one could ever want are included. The processor is very fast, and the charging is so fast that it'll take your breath away. Sound, ease of use, and screen are all outstanding.

I know there is a better model, but this works with a budget, it just takes a little time to get used to. The camera is excellent—super clear, even better than the Apple Pro model. in my opinion It you need to compare yourself charges quickly, has great storage (256 GB), and overall, it’s a solid choice for everyday use.
