Overall, this product is pretty good, especially for the price! I bought it after seeing similar products recommended in several YouTube videos by individuals with chronic pain (the product they would link to was no longer available). I had really high hopes for it based upon the glowing recommendations! While this wasn't quite the miracle device I was hoping it was (note to self: pain relief products _never_ are as good as you want them to be), it was worth the money and I don't regret adding it to my arsenal of products. I was hoping I would be able to hook it around my shoulder and collar bone in order to get into my shoulder blade area, but unfortunately I haven't been able to find a way to do that that isn't exceedingly awkward. Definitely much better suited for use on the back of the neck and upper shoulder area. At first I thought the balls were able to roll in their casing, but after using it for a minute or so when it first arrived in the mail, one of the balls popped out and rolled across the floor! Thankfully it was very easy to just screw back into place, so it wasn't a huge deal, but that did make me think that maybe the balls rolling was not an intentional feature. That being said, I did prefer the way that felt, so I do sometimes loosen them slightly and use it that way. Aside from that one time, I haven't had that happen again, and the materials themselves are very sturdy plastic, so I'm not worried about damage to anything if it does happen again. Overall, I'd recommend giving this product a shot for managing chronic pain/tension in the neck!

I love how easy and effective this is

I found that it is good for releasing tension NOT in the neck muscles, but in the skin and fascia of the back of the neck. It does not directly target the neck muscles. It is good at what it targets: skin and fascia. However, it does not work well for the upper trapezius (doesn't fit there), doesn't work on your shoulder (awkward), and feels funny on the leg. Could it relieve pain? Theoretically, yes it can! The pain receptors are located in the skin and facia layers so by releasing tension in those layers, it could reduce the pain in that area. However, it can't relieve pain in the areas where it can't reach! Buyers beware!

If you are looking for the best handheld Shiatsu massager on the market, look no further! Heck, I'd say it's the best thing since the microwave oven, penicillin vaccine, and DNA fingerprinting! You see, I'm a worm gatherer, so it's my job to charm them out of the ground. Sometimes I'm bent over 10-12 hours a day trying to get those little suckers up and out. By the end of the day, my neck has this terrible kink that I can hardly even look straight at the road to get me home. The drive is long and strenuous, but knowing that I have this portable and lightweight manual massager is what allows me to push through, and get myself and my worms home safely. You see, I used to go to this little place down the road, but one time I was a little low on cash (believe it or not, worm gathering does not pay out like you'd think it would) and I tried to tip in worms, and well..let's just say, I'm not longer allowed back. BUT, it was a blessing in disguise because this massager has a customizable intensity level that boosts circulation and blood flow. Tell ya what, all my tension, fatigue, and neck stiffness just floats away. Best part about this massager is the two soft, yet firm silicone balls, deeply penetrating the muscles for instant pain relief of knots and tight achy muscles. Last time I had two balls resting on my neck like that was a drunken game of Twister gone wrong back in '94 at Spring Break. Also, can we talk about the visual aesthetics? Not only will it help sore muscles, but this slick black and blue design is a perfect sight for sore eyes. With this massager being so portable and lightweight, I'm able to use it at home or take to work with me. All I do is slide it into my knock off Northface duffel bag, in between my $8 Walmart Yeti and my worm gathering supplies and it fits perfect! Nothing better than being able to take a 5 minute break from worm gathering, to be able to work them blue balls all over my neck and shoulders. This Shiatsu massager is by far a pleasurable experience!

Sara’ pure una cineseria, pero’ io Mi ci sono trovata molto bene. Soffro di schiacciamento vertebre cervicali e, anche a causa della postura in ufficio, sono torturata da irrigidimenti muscolari e forti cefalee a cio’ imputabili. A casa ho una collezione di massaggiatori elettrici e il fisioterapista lo frequento piu’ del fidanzato, pero’ devo dire che questo aggeggino da quattro soldi mi aiuta tantissimo quando non posso fare fisioterapia. Premendo sui muscoli doloranti, sul momento sembra acuire i dolori, ma in realta’ disattiva i nocicettori dei trigger point e poi provo un gran sollievo. Sono molto contenta del mio acquisto. Soldi ben spesi, a saperlo mi evitavo di buttare quattrini nei vari massaggiatori elettrici che, secondo me, non servono a una cicca.

Quand le massage ne vient pas à bout de ces tensions du cou, cet outil offre une force bien plus considérable, si on le souhaite, bien que l'outil de massage permette aussi des massages plus en douceur. Super aussi pour les mollets voire autour des genoux s'ils ne sont pas trop larges. On peut régler la position des balles comme le montre ma 2ème photo, à l'aide d'un pas de vis. La robustesse malgré le design ressort au centre de symétrie du plastique donne confiance sur le bon vieillissement du produit. Beau boulot !

This was recommended to me and as a massage therapist I was dubious but it is an amazing self treatment for the neck from the base of skull to the upper traps. I love it I don’t need to rely on anyone to give myself a decent amount of pressure if I want or just a light touch on points

Al principio me pareciço que las bolas eran demasiado pequeñas (son del tamaño de una pelota de golf), pero después de un rato masajeando resulta que tienen un tamaño perfecto. Llegas bien a todas las zonas centrales del cuello desde la nuca hasta abajo, incluso puedes masajear los laterales llevándote las dos bolas hacia el lado que necesites (abriéndolo para masajear los dos laterales a la vez no es cómodo porque la abertura no da para tanto y aprieta al intentar cerrarse, por no mencionar que si lo abres mucho entiendo que se acabaría rompiendo con el tiempo). Después de unos minutos masajeando notas como los músculos del cuello se van calentando y van cediendo, y ya no está todo tan duro. Me parece un accesorio muy útil para tener a mano, masajea sin tener que tensar nada ya que no hay que hacer excesiva fuerza y puedes mantener el cuello recto y relajado mientras te das el masaje tú mismo. Creo que para la gente que pasa mucho tiempo sentado, al ordenador por ejemplo, es perfecto. Se ve robusto y de calidad, y las bolas no son del todo rígidas por lo que no hacen daño. Muy satisfecha con la compra.
