Carbon Fiber Pool Cue Stick 12.5mm Rainbow Tip Low Deflection Pool Stick with Uni-loc Pin Joint and Extension Pool Stick-20 oz

I apprehensively purchased this all Black Carbon Fiber Ray Speed 20oz cue stick from Amazon for my Husband’s late December birthday, because he recently mentioned how impressed he was with a friend’s carbon Fiber Cue stick that was a Christmas present. What brought my attention to Ray Speed Brand while shopping, is that (ironically) my husband’s name is Ray! Well, he absolutely loves it! He says that it’s perfectly balanced, strait as an arrow, and has limited deflection! Also: The fact that it comes with a quality case, extra tip, shooters glove, and cue stick adjustable extender, is a phenomenal value for the money!

Awesome cue!

I’ll start by saying this: I’m extremely picky when it comes to billiards and equipment. I’ve been around the game my whole life, and I know cues...from the $50 sticks you can grab at Walmart to rare, high-end cues priced in the thousands. When my Ray Speed cue arrived, I inspected it inch by inch. For the ~$160 I paid, it offers excellent value, especially considering it comes with a carbon fiber shaft. For any beginner to intermediate player, this cue is more than enough to put you on the right path. The packaging was solid, the dimensions and weight were accurate, and the overall build quality was better than I expected at this price point. The carbon fiber shaft is well-made, though not quite on the level of big names like Predator or Cuetec. Still, the craftsmanship and materials are impressive given the cost and bundled accessories. That said, I did end up returning mine due to a few small defects I couldn’t overlook. To the average player, they probably wouldn’t have been noticeable, but I’m detail-oriented and particular about my equipment, even though it was a gift for my wife. What really stood out, though, was Ray Speed’s customer service. From start to finish, their support was top-notch, and I wouldn’t hesitate to order from them again if another one of their products caught my eye knowing that they offer such great support.

I bought this stick for my son. His wooden stick is a slight bit warped and the carbon fiber sticks are supposed to resist warping. He really likes it. He likes that the shaft is low deflection and it really seems to help his game. I also bought another separate shaft in case something happens to the tip on the cue. The quick connect is nice, and he’s already making use of the extension that comes with the cue. This pool cue is definitely worth the price.

My pool cues from Ray Speed are quite nice quality cues and on top of that very distinctive colors as well so far it's been comfortable to play with and worth to enjoy for the value of the price of the sticks the durability so far I just been playing with it for a week and it held its standards pretty well that's for the accuracy the straightness is on point as long I keep practicing I'll get better at making it even straighter when I shoot overall the looks are impressive of their ideas of their creators.... Shooting with accuracy which I'm getting better at this carbon fiber is great from average players to as far as you want to go

I’ve only used this cue one or two times. I really bought for the extension. In used it once. I do like that it can be a little or to its limit

This cue has variables weight but I was not given a chance to choose the weight. They sent me 20 ounce cue. The weight cannot be adjusted. It came with an extension and a very cheep glove no chalk and an extra tip. Composite shaft is perfectly straight, however when the shaft was attached to the butt end there is wobble, small but annoying! I’m going to contact the manufacturer to explore options. Overall it could have been better in attention to detail. This is a Ray Speed cue.
