I have the 1 pound in dark gray, and now white. Remarkable product. Have been using it for years. The white is perfect for repairing gouges on my white fiberglass bottom river boat. The larger -1 pound - is easier to use/mix.

I have used this product in the past- If you want to repair your hull knowing that it will bee structuraly sound and undetectable., you will not find a better product.only takes one application and harder than regular body fillers.

product expired on delivery. Manufacturer (ITW Performance Adhesive) verifies that date code 307024 indicates production in July of 2023. Product has shelf life of 2 years, so this is expired.

I’ve been using Marine Tex off and in for well over 30 years, and it’s never let me down. It’s still a great product and worth the cost for those difficult repairs. In this case, it was to back fill an old door jamb that had some wood loss due to rot on the inner side. The jamb was original from 1941, and was a full 2” thick. Tues into the stucco and water-proofing, making repair more attractive than replacement. Marine Tex to the rescue.

I’ve used Marine Tex on a wide variety of applications, from back filling a synthetic rifle stock to install a recoil pad to using as a filler and structural epoxy in rc aircraft. This stuff is seriously strong, yet sands readily, & it’s adhesive strength especially on dissimilar surfaces is the strongest I’ve ever seen. Pricey but worth it for those critical jobs.
