Great signal, feels super good quality

These work fine however the release clip on the female end doesn't always lock on every microphone or device. Other than that there are no sound issues but a loose connection on a mic at the end of a 25' cable can be a technical consideration and I'll weigh this factor when I am purchasing XLR cables of this brand in the future.

I told the rep at Cable Matters that I was a diligent reviewer and this is my review: These are excellent cables. I was tired of mic cables wearing out after a year or 2. How many times do you have to tell your band mates "don't step on the cables damn it!!"? Oh well nothing lasts forever but they become non-recyclable garbage that you hate to throw away but you don't know what to do with...So I decided to buy these Cable Matters products - they are exactly as they appear in the photos; actually they are better. I bought 4 cables (2 boxes). When they arrived, visually they were obviously high quality. They had a heft to them and felt indestructible. Unfortunately one of them stopped working (or never worked, not sure) almost immediately. Complete silence - not crackly or partial sound. I emailed the company and they stated that there is a ONE YEAR FULL WARRANTY on replacement. The problem was I had to mail the bad cable back to Massachusetts to get a replacement and that cost about $10 by USPS which is the cheapest method. The good news is they sent me 2 new cables so I am basically still very happy - I now have 5 top notch mic cables. It turns out using vocal processors I needed at least 5 anyway. I assume that if they function perfectly when you receive them, that they will last a very long time. Hopefully I will not need to update this review anytime soon!
