The setup was straightforward, and their support team and training videos made it much easier to understand than I expected. Even as a beginner, I was able to start stitching beautiful, professional-quality designs right away. The stitch quality is crisp and consistent, and it runs incredibly smooth. The automatic thread trimming and color-changing features save so much time. I’ve already embroidered shirts, towels, and applique pieces, and everything has turned out amazing. The machine feels solid and reliable - truly built for both beginners and those planning to grow their business. I recently upgraded from the Brother SE2000 to the Smartstitch 1501 Plus, and it’s been a total game changer! This is my first multi-needle machine, and the difference in speed, color efficiency, and stitch quality is night and day. The machine arrived extremely well-packaged in a heavy-duty crate (see photos) and felt very secure during transit. Setup does take some space and muscle, but everything was in perfect condition. The build is solid, and the touchscreen interface is intuitive once you get used to it. I completed the official training last night, and I was really impressed. The trainer was knowledgeable and super responsive. When we hit an unexpected issue, she walked over to an engineer and got the answer right away — that kind of real-time support gave me a lot of confidence. I’ve already done some test stitching and a full-color project (photos included), and I’m thrilled with the results. Crisp lines, smooth color transitions, and minimal thread breaks. If you're thinking about stepping up to a commercial machine, I highly recommend this one. The machine is powerful, the training is thorough, and the support team is clearly invested in helping users succeed.

This machine is amazing and the trainers that helped set it up are Amazing and provided great help. It also came with great instructions and videos to set it up. The packaging was great and nothing was damaged. Highly recommend SmartStitch!

So far, so good. I’ve only had the machine for about a month, but I’ve been able to make really cool items with a variety of techniques from appliqué on kitchen towels to lettering on sweatshirts. Love the larger embroidery field, though I haven’t maxed it out yet. It has its quirks that I’ve had to adjust to but the Smartstitch team is open to feedback and provides helpful support, training and onboarding. Great value for the price. Hope to keep making beautiful designs on this machine for a long time.

I am new to embroidery and decided to go with the Smartstich S1501 plus. I am so glad that I did. The personal training and support is OUTSTANDING! Having absolutely no experience in embroidery and digitizing, with the suggestions, training and support, I have gotten off to great start. ( in my opinion). I am pretty new to embroidery. I got my first ever single needle in April and I loved it but hated all that came with complex designs on a single needle (rehooping, color changes, multiple items taking forever) I never thought a multi needle would be attainable for a stay at home mom with a little craft side business but the affordability along with the ease of use and the huge embroidery area beat all of the brand names out I was looking at, but at a fraction of the price. My machine arrived on a Sunday we set it up that night and Monday I had my training! Everything you need to know to get started is on YouTube and if you need help they have an amazing Facebook group to help you get things figured out. I message my trainer and training group with any questions, and even tho they are in different time zones than me, someone always gets back to me really quickly. It is huge, which I love. I didn’t want to start with a small embroidery area and spend more money later upgrading so I went for the biggest one I could get and I’m very happy with it. I did not have to purchase anything to start embroidering. It even came with everything I need to do maintenance on it; oil, tools and a little tool box to keep everything organized complete with some spare parts! I also have to say this is quieter than my single needle (old brother PE 770) and I was pleasantly surprised with that! It’s very high tech compared to what I came from so it takes a little bit to figure out the buttons. I have to say I love the “float” feature too that lets you “fast forward” or “rewind” your design to go to an exact area to redo it or to start over if you had an issue. I was able to save a 3D puff hat today because of that! Overall, as someone with not much experience in this at all I found it was easy to set up with a little help from my boyfriend to pick it up on the stand (you will def need two people for this to make sure it doesn’t move on you) but besides that I was able to set everything up on my own and have received amazing customer service from the Smartstitch team about my questions. I don’t usually like spending money, but I am very happy with this purchase and look forward to getting more comfortable with it. I would/will buy a second one of these if my embroidery takes off because I enjoy it so much.

This machine is absolutely amazing! The stitch quality is excellent, and it's built like a workhorse — perfect for growing my embroidery business. I was initially worried about training and ongoing support, but those concerns disappeared quickly. I was assigned a full support team who are always available to help whenever I have a question. The training has been thorough, and I’ve never felt like I was on my own. This is actually my second SmartStitch purchase in less than a year — I now have two, and I love them both! I’m beyond happy with my decision to invest in this brand. If you’re on the fence, don’t hesitate. The machine is incredible, and the support is even better!
