Metpure Heavy Duty EZ RO Reverse Osmosis RO Filtration Ice Maker Refrigerator Universal Feed Water Supply Adapter With 1/4" Quick Connect Ball Valve Solid Brass

This is the second one of these I purchased for an Reverse Osmosis system. The manufacturer of the RO system didn't put in the right size of connectors and I needed this to make the connection to the water line. The product is good quality and made the connection easy.

I used this for my ro setup from bulk reef supply. I connected it to my laundry sink in the garage. All connections were very straight forward. Unfortunately the first kit I received the shut off valve leaked while turning on and off the valve. When the valve was in the fully open or closed position it did not leak. I had a replacement from Amazon in a couple days and this one works perfectly. I like that this is all brass and I have a shut off before the 1/4 hose. The option BRS sells has the shut off inline after the conversion to the 1/4 hose line. I was just worried about the push connection for the hose leaking. This resolves those worries for me. Just add in a drain saddle valve for your waste water and you are all set.

We used this to connect our refrigerator ice maker. It could not have been more simple. Having the ability to connect to either 1/2” or 3/8” was brilliant. Ensure all the connections are right before turning on the water. One of them is left hand thread if you use the included adapter. Once we had all the connections tight we enjoyed fresh water and ice out of the fridge.

Seems decently constructed, good price. BUT not universal like the description says, did NOT fit my water connection for my fridge, in any way. Had to buy a fitting from home depot to get it to work. Disappointed, thought this would work. Reboxed it and hanging on to it in case I ever need it for something else.

quick connect flow is perfect for my undersink filters. Would give 5 stars but had to use teflon tape to get one joint to hold properly but other than that, this piece was exactly what I needed to add on my quick connect tubing.

I recently purchased a new refrigerator and needed to setup my Waterline. I purchased a similar part and it leaked. I figured I would try Amazon. Not only did this part work awesome. It was such a great value. I highly recommend this product. It also has a shut off valve. So great

Worked perfectly, has been on for 3 months now and absolutely no complaints. Constructed well - be sure to use plumbers tape to seal parts well. Also, if you’re working in a tight space - be sure to screw on components by hand before using any tools. As always, water off while working! This adapter changed my life, we were able to feed a 1/4 line then tee that off to run a filtered water line and ice machine line to the refrigerator!

This was easy to install and worked well for a few months. Then just wiggling the push in fitting resulted in a leak that could not be stopped, and the O ring between the two brass pieces also started leaking and could not be stopped when touched. This may work once, but if taken apart again, leaked ever after.

Fits description and have been buying it for family and friends with filtration system. Better than the default one that come right out of the box.
