Review
Comfortable, I have wide feet and they still were comfortable and good quality.

Classy and Comfortable
Had an issue with "lost in transit" for a couple weeks - then Amazon offered to send a replacement pair. Got them in two days ! These are nice - appear to be black leather and have giant oversize laces for a very chunky look. Super comfortable and size runs true to the number. The platform feature gives a bit of extra height - not a lot but noticeable to the wearer. Recommended.

Fit Big
I love these shoes they fit big on my feet ! I ordered a 12 men because I normally wear a 11.5 but they only sell whole sizes so I have to wear thick socks

Underwhelming
They don't look the best, and they run small to boot. There's something about them that just looks inherently cheap in attempting to look "retro". I would pass on these.

I actually like them
The shoes looked a bit odd, but I still loved the unique design! The unconventional style sets them apart from typical sneakers, giving them a fresh and trendy vibe. The comfortable platform provides excellent support for long walks, making them perfect for everyday wear. I appreciated how they paired well with both casual and sporty outfits, allowing for versatile styling options. Despite their unusual appearance, they turned out to be incredibly comfortable and eye catching, making them a fun addition to my shoe collection!

UPDATED REVIEW: They're OK. Cool-looking, decently built. Not great for tons of walking.
Updated Review Comments: I am not changing my review (3-stars, for all the reasons I outline in my original review). I do want to comment that I learned, on my own, that these are budget-priced facsimiles of very pricey, designer sneakers from Rick Owens called "Rick Owens Jumbo Lace Low Top Sneakers" (or variations of that). The original ones go for anywhere from $700-$1000 (at the time of writing, depending on site/retailer). These are, from what I've seen, nearly spot-on knock-offs from the laces to the stitching to the overall shape and appearance. The big difference is that these have a PU (fake leather) upper, and the real ones are real leather. The real ones are also lined with contrasting fabric. Since the legit ones are real leather, they will likely grow more comfortable as they stretch and mold. These will not. That said, if you are looking for some budget knockoffs that look pretty close to the genuine thing, these are a good bet. ---Original Review from 08/2024--- These shoes are okay. They look really cool, but there are a few fit/construction items that will keep them from being a go-to pair in my shoe collection. I may use the fat laces for both these and some other shoes. The PU leather upper looks leather-like enough until you feel it, and the shoes look far less cartoony in person than in some of the product page photos. I'll likely wear them with jeans or chinos, as when I wear them with shorts, they do make me look a bit like a giant toddler. I outline some pros and cons below: These shoes look almost exactly like they do in the product listing photos, with minor differences. The laces, for example, are a bit more natural linen color (like pale oatmeal), white, and the toecap and sole are ivory/off-white. This is a small difference, but it may irk you if you were expecting a more precise color match between the laces and soles, as the product listing photos have. The footbed is decent. It feels like there's a think layer of memory foam cushioning. It's not immediately removable, in any case. I won't test if it's just lightly glued in and how easy it is to replace until the footbed needs to be replaced. Width-wise, the size 12s fit somewhere between medium/standard and wide (they certainly are wider than my standard-width Nike sneakers, for example, but not as wide as my wide-width New Balance sneakers). And because these are rubber soles/toecap with a PU upper, there won't be much stretching or molding to your foot. If you have somewhat wide feet like me, with wider ankles, these are most comfortable if worn without socks or with thinner socks. Socks with athletic-sock or boot-sock thickness make them uncomfortable, especially since they don't have the natural stretch or give that real leather does. If you wear these without socks and your feet get sweaty, you will definitely hear some PU squeaking unless you lace them snugly. I wouldn't call these "easy on" shoes, especially if you have the top pairs of eyelets unused. However, it you lace them up all the way, it can take some wrangling to get them on since the top pair of eyelets is set pretty high for being low-top sneakers. I actually wish these didn't have the top pair of eyelets, because of where that makes the upper and tongue hit against my ankle/foot. 4 pairs of eyelets per shoe would be better than the 5 pairs there are. The back is nice, though, and comes up to a nice point, so there won't be too much edge-rubbing like you can get with some Chuck Taylors or similar shoes until they're broken in. Given the awkward height of the opening/upper/tongue and how it hits on my foot, I definitely won't be wearing these as "walk all around the city" shoes. But for a casual night hanging out or going out to dinner/lunch/brunch, these will work fine and look pretty cool. Does $56.99 for these shoes seem okay? It's not a great price, but now that Chucks have gone to silly pricing levels for a pair of barely cushioned canvas sneakers, $56.99 seems fair-ish. Given some of the shortcomings, I'd prefer these to be in the sub-$45 price range. *Disclaimer* I received this product through the Vine Program in exchange for an honest review. Kind of a retro kid vibe, and well built.
I like these because they have a certain bounce to them that's nice, a feel in the walk of them. They are not all that cushy, and I would suggest another insole, which I may do, but the main thing is really the nice materials in these shoes. The white and stitched rubber areas that surround the leather top looks a bit like they're actually worn, meaning a bit weathered in the stitches. I liked that right out of the box, kind of like distreessed furniture. But I definitely stepped into these and right away felt at home in them. Playful look, but serious gear to last.
