Cute but smaller handle than I expected

Super cute purse but I was hoping to be able to carry it on my arm, as shown by a model in the pictures. The handle is too small for that. I should have paid closer attention to the measurements.I was also hoping to be able to set it standing up on a table, but the bottom isn’t flat, the hinges make it tippy.
