Performance Tool W10055 0-200 PSI Air Gauge for Air Tank Accessory

Works very well and once I got an adapter, its installation was easy as well. Note: it is a 1/8" NPT! My air tank was a 1/4" which I didn't realize and I didn't notice the difference when I ordered it. But once I figured out that discrepency (which was my own fault) I just used an adapter to change it to 1/4" and it fit nicely. Seems strong and is much easier to read than the old one was.

I put this on my portable air tank when I rebuilt the gage and hose. I have been using it for a few years now and I works well.

Good gauge

So be careful. Gave it 4 stars because most people have figured out 5 stars are a joke. I ordered a new pressure switch for my air compressor and this was recommended as per also bought by customers who bought this same item. It is 1/8" NPT and the switch is 1/4" I can make it work and it is clearly my fault for not reading the description. Although it takes some time digging through the specs to find 1/8" NPT. And again my fault first picture shows package which shows 1/8" NPT. Looks to be good quality will know when I get it installed.

I am satisfied with this gauge. It works perfectly as a replacement for the failed one on my portable 120 psi air storage tank. However, it is only 1 5/8". It is not a 2 inch gauge unless one is willing to accept that 1 5/8" rounded to the nearest inch is 2 inches. I give the item five stars, not the description.

Just what I needed

So how do you rate a cheap, hard to read gauge that works perfectly as a replacement for existing cheap, hard to read gauge that failed? It gets a 2 star drop because it really is tough to read. Not so much because it is small diameter thus limited from the start but because the design has gauge face deep within the case which shadows the gauge unless light shining directly onto face and if it were less deep the crimped over bezel would obscure some of the readings because gauge face is off center with the case. Not sure the gauge scale makes much sense either. Says clearly "125 max" then goes on to show up to 200 but made so much safer by spelling out "danger" in tiny letters. Remove the useless makings occupying 1/3 of the gauge allowing the useful markings to be readable.... Yup, good solid 3 start unit.

Por error mío no me percaté que el tubo era de otro diámetro, no lo devolví porque es la escala que requiero. Estoy buscando un reductor para instalarlo y probarlo. El que pedí en Amazon llegó equivocado.
