The elastic band is a bit tight at times but I have gotten used to it after a while ( if you’re going normally with a size 16 and above I’d probably go for a Large) but I still find them comfortable, they’re also high waist. They don’t shrink in the wash but I always wash them in 30-40 degrees, and they’re a good length. They also have two side pockets and one at the back. Great purchase! My guess would be a 2x for 46 **Q: Would a small fit some one who wears 30/30 in pants well? Are they soft and breathe well? Are they roomy without being overly baggy?** A: As for the length of a small, the size chart should be helpful. I wear a large at 34w32inseam. They are not too baggy, though. Very happy with the lightweight material and good comstruction. **Q: what size would 42 be for a 6ft 2 in ?** A: I bought XXL, i wear 40 waist, sometimes 42 waist, and the XXL has plenty of stretch room, with long waist tie to secure.
