Ordered this for my boyfriend cause we are now in a long distance relationship, I was delighted that the saying was on both ends. The pillow is soft material, not velvet but not your average cotton blend either. It was almost like a ribbed material. Not sure how well the stitching will hold up with multiple washes. I did do one first wash of it and it was fine.

The pillow was very soft and was bigger than I expected it to be. The only thing was that it did not come with the stuffing for the inside. That you have to buy separately. Otherwise, I would totally recommend it.
