First half felt a bit repetitive and slower, but the last 100 pages were gripping and emotional. Still worth reading to continue Pip’s story. Book 3 – As Good As Dead: mind-blowing. Dark, intense, and unexpected. The tone shifts completely — Pip’s transformation and the psychological depth make it unforgettable. The final act is shocking and stays in your head long after finishing. Overall, this set is totally worth buying if you like thrillers with emotional depth, great twists, and a main character who changes realistically from book to book. Must read for thriller fans — especially if you love fast pacing and unpredictable endings.
