Great product, plan to order more
I purchased this shirt for general wear but also for use on extended bicycle tours. I've used many synthetic garments from top end brands such as patagonia, nike, under armor and north face with similar and somewhat smelly results. Despite the anti microbial properties of many synthetic garments I've never felt that any of them have held up under long bike rides or hikes without smelling awful. Merino wool will certainly stink if you wear it day after day on an extended trip, but not to the same degree and not very noticeably either. That was primarily why I purchased these shirts and I'm very pleased I did so. First off, I recommend ordering a size up if you'd like a slightly more relaxed fit (6'2" 165lbs and ordered a Large). They'll still be somewhat form fitting but not to the same extent as ordering your normal size. Having a more tightly fitted shirt probably helps somewhat with moisture wicking, but as I said I opted for a more casual/relaxed look. With that being said I've stayed very dry on extended bike rides in hot weather (60+miles, 77 degrees). I have yet to use these on tour, but for now it has passed the test. These shirts are also as comfortable as any soft cotton t-shirt I've ever worn but much more travel worthy. Being able to hand wash and hang dry a garment in a timely manner is very important to me when traveling, and so far I've noticed this shirt will completely dry after washing within two hours (probably faster in hotter weather). That's about as good as any synthetic shirt I've owned. However I find that it can be difficult to totally rid a synthetic shirt of its awful smell when hand washing it on the road. Whereas these shirt tend to only need to be put in the breeze (let alone a full wash) and the B.O. smell is practically gone. So fart I've ridden in temperatures up to the upper 70's and am anxious to try them in hotter weather. Initially I was concerned that they might be too warm, but they really don't feel any different than my favorite cotton shirts so I'm anticipating being able to wear them in the heat of the summer. Bottom line is I'm glad I purchased these and will/have recommend them to friends. They're also quite a bit cheaper than competing brands such as IceBreaker and Smartwool.

Classic t-shirt fit
I'm 6'4" and 200 lbs. The XL fits perfectly. I have at least 25 wool t-shirts (who is this guy, the King of France?). I would rate these shirts as nice as any of the other more famous brands. Thicker cloth. Not scratchy. Nicer choice of colors. Great fit, not tight but not baggy at the waist. Love the sleeve length. A little longer than the other wool tees but I like that. No idea about durability. I've only had them for two months but I have worn them very often. So far so good.

Hey, it's a shirt!
I like the length of the shirt - it has a long trunk and I use it when skiing and it doesn't ride up and pull out especially when I fall! It keeps me warm - I also put the long sleeve variant over the top of this one which has worked well. After washing, it got softer and even more comfortable. By the way, I hate wool sweaters, but this shirt doesn't feel anything like the wool sweaters I used to have. I'm looking forward to using it during hunting season - it wicks away moisture and keeps me warm.

Light weight comfortable wool shirt
Although somewhat expensive it has been a good shirt. Light enough for use during summer heat and humidity. It has retained it’s shape and never leaves you feeling damp or clamy. Just the kind of shirt especially for traveling, since the wool impedes the growth of bacteria, you can wear it several days before washing. Overall a good lightweight shirt for all occasions, and very useful for travel.

Wore for 6 days on a grueling Wyoming Pronghorn hunt - this merino took the abuse in stride!
As stated above, I put this t-shirt through some torture on a 6 day hunt in Wyoming. I wore it every day over 65 miles in 80 degree weather, and I am extremely impressed. I've always picked merino wool for hunting, because of it's wicking and anti-smell properties, however I have never put it through a true test like this past hunt. The price point on this product is pretty good compared to the market, and what I would consider the quality to be impressive. It will pill a bit, but that is the nature of merino wool and not a quality defect. You can also wear it as a normal t-shirt that offers great comfort around the house or going out. An important note - you must wash merino wool first to reduce the potential of itchiness. Washing makes this shirt much softer, and I had no problems drying on the least-warm option on my dryer. In addition, my friend bought the same shirt and wore it for the same duration during our hunt. He also had no problems and is now a true believer in merino wool, especially for hunting. He also is a guide for winter skiing and participates in search & rescue efforts, and has stated he is only buying merino wool for these activities as well. In closing, if you are looking for a tough shirt that exemplifies the great properties merino wool can offer, I can confidently recommend this product.

If you want a holy shirt...
Had to run to the UK for a week- had to travel light. Now wondering why I don't wear merino all the time. Wore this and a merino sweater almost daily- and they didn't smell- and I was comfortable. Made a mistake one day- wore a cotton t instead under the merino sweater- bad move. Was a bit itchy out of the box- but not anymore. I'll be buying more. Also, after not wearing it for a bit (not travelling) I'd put it back on, only to discover the back of it was full of holes. Contacted Minus33 and they provided amazing customer support and backed their product 100% Great product- great company. Now- the replacement- 2 small holes in the front. I only wear this when traveling- so it's been sitting in a drawer for the Covid hiatus. I'm not sure if this is just the norm for merino. It's why I don't wear them daily- although I'd love it if I could. Sad.

T shirt is a long fit which is a good thing. It isn't itchy at all. It is warm even when drenched in sweat. It definitely doesn't smell with repeated use. To avoid wearing out the fit I tend to minimise washing merino until absolutely necessary... and it's managed several hikes and a couple of runs before its first wash.

Love the comfort and breathable material. It’s certainly pricy but well worth the quality. Ordered XL and is a bit oversized for me, am ok for the more loosely feel.

Have just started to use merino wool after decades of avoiding wool at all costs. Find Minus 33 to be a true North American size versus other brands that are smaller. What's the big deal? Very comfortable, keeps you warm and good for all conditions. If you have previous experience with basic cotton/polyester 'performance' shirts you know that they are ok but once sweaty it's time for the wash right away. For the first time, I am more than confident to use a shirt two days and more in a row regardless of how active I've been. I've just started experimenting with various brands and have found Minus 33 to be the best to date. Would definitely recommend and as to sizing, find it a true 'North American' size.

Very comfortable. Retains no odor, so you can wear it multiple days without it smelling terrible (you might, but it won't...). Seems a bit snug when first worn after a wash, but loosens up to a very comfortable fit soon after.
