This is a nice sized book, you can see that there is a cordless phone and an Echo device, and a guitar pick to give you a sense of the size. It's not your typical paperback book.I haven't read much yet, as I'm still taking an online class in norsk (Norwegian - bokmal). Just so you know, there is a sidebar for many words you may not learn in a class like I'm taking. And a bonus - there is a huge dictionary translating Norwegian to English in the back of the book.I've read nothing but good reviews on this book, so I'm looking forward to not only practice my reading of another language, but the story line as well.As you may have read, this book is written in a simple manner as not to intimidate a person new to norsk.Takk for din tid!(Thanks for your time!) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fun book. *by E***N on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on September 20, 2021* This is a bit too advanced for my Norwegian, but I'll get there. I understand quite a bit, but would struggle if I didn't have a native Norwegian speaker to help me. The author's writing style is very well suited for those of us learning Norwegian.I think I am going to buy the English translation and read that first, because it's so interesting, and it will help me read this original Norwegian version. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Naiv. I did notice, however, that my copy has a lot of unnecessary hyphens in the English words in the dictionary part. The story texts seem to be fine. We are using this book in an intermediate Norwegian class.
