Great quality , but not very good functional design as the feet are sliding forward.

I love Fly boots, the shoes and sandals are not as good, in my opinion.I do like these sandals, the colour is nice and they look good on, I've had several compliments on them.They are comfortable to stand around in and light walking, I can wear them all day at work (I work in a primary school and rarely get to sit down) with no problem.I can't then walk the 5km home in them, I tried once and had to stop half way as the straps (just before they cross over) had cut into the top of my foot. The edges of the leather straps are very hard, it's not soft leather, possibly because it's got a shine/polish to it.I'm a size 5 in all my Fly boots, these are a little long in the footbed, maybe I could have sized down? The width is fine and seems standard to me in comparison to other Fly footwear. There is very little adjustment you can do. I use a shoe horn to help slide my foot in.I wouldn't buy again due to the leather being so hard, it limits the amount of walking I can do, I do like to walk fast. In my opinion they would be improved by using soft leather/suede.

These Chlo852fly Sandals come up quite big. In other brands, I'd order a size 6 (38), but in this style the size 5 (38) fitted perfectly for length.The footbed felt really comfortable, and the sandals were not as heavy as they might appear.Unfortunately, they are let down by the limited adjustability of the straps, and the hardness of the leather.My feet aren't particularly wide, but the crossover buckled strap would need an extra hole added to enable them to be done up. Whereas the position of the velcro on the heel strap didn't allow for the strap to be tightened enough.I don't know what's gone wrong with FlyLondon in recent times. I used to buy lots of FlyLondon footwear, often buying more than one colour in a style. Not any more :(

The Smog colour is a lovely green. That's the only positive I can think of for these sandals. The sole is hard and sturdy, a cork footbed with and extra rubber layer. You know they'll last, but that's why they are so heavy. They are also very long. I wear 3.5, bought size 3, but they were more like 4/4.5.
