I have been using a bamboo top with a metal straw. The bamboo molds after a bit and I don't like the metal straw. This solves that problem! Easy to drink from and cleans up nicely. Highly recommend! Review: Compared with ReCap Pour Cap, County Line Kitchen, and Masontops Multi-top - I'm always using pour top style lids on my wide mouth Mason jars. I generally store honey and need a pour spout for harvesting honey and pouring it back out into smaller jars. In my review, I compare three companies and my findings are below. Here I rank the lids from favorite to least favorite and the reasons: #1 I chose the ReCap Mason Jar Pour Cap as my favorite because it had the best "feel" and I can take the cap off when doing lots of pouring and refilling in my honey operation. This jar is certified BPA Free and is recyclable as well as being dishwasher safe, Made in the USA. #2 Running a tight second and still a great lid, the County Line Kitchen Flip Top. It's recyclable, top rack dishwasher safe, has a recycle code embossed (5) and is Made in Taiwan #3 Last place is the Masontops Multi-top which is identified on paper as BPA Free and dishwasher safe. No material recycle markings on the lid, no manufacturer marks on the lid. Removable seal ring falls out on its own. Plastic is rigid and the pop-top lid requires two hands to open. Made in China All three lids passed the leak-test on a glass mason jar filled with water, including the horizontal shake test, not one drip from any of them. Good gripping ridges on the sides of the ReCap lid, Good gripping texture on the County Line Flip-Top All have replaceable sealing gaskets. One hand flip and drink preference goes to the ReCap Pour Cap. I recommend all of them and simply have a personal preference for the ReCap design. 4 - Stars for the Green Masontops Multi-top for no recycle markings, no manufacturer markings, smooth surface and the smallest pour hole with the most difficult to open snap cap of the three.

I wish I bought this years ago!!!
This is amazing! For years I’ve been getting half gallon mason jars from the farm with raw milk and that first pour always went all over the counter.... no more! Now I can easily pour as much or little as I want without spilling it, and it doesn’t leak when I shake the jar. Fantastic purchase! I will definitely be buying more soon!

These lids are total game changers !
I hate the metal lids that come with Mason jars. These lids are wonderful. They're easy to screw on and off, easy to clean, and have a long reusable life! The best part is that I can store the Mason jars in my fridge with homemade salad dressing, smoothies, tea, etc. and simply pop the pouring spout open to drizzle, pour, or drink as little or as much as I want and then I can close the pouring spout back up to place it back in the fridge! These lids are great! I have them in both regular and wide size! Will purchase more.

Durable and functional
These lids are great! Easy on and off and the flip part is tight, but opens easily. I use them for cold brew coffee so I have one in the fridge and one brewing.

PERFECT!!
I bought this with the wide mouth mason jar cold brew set and it fit perfectly, even after running it through the dishwasher several times. Makes drinks easy to pour and store in the fridge!!

Should have bought more
These work great. I do a lot of cold brewing with mason jars, and after I've filtered out what ever I'm brewing, it goes back in the jar and in the fridge. No more having to twist off a mason jar lid that doesn't want to come off right away when ever I want a drink.
