Love this printer
Thinking of re-buy this becuase we ended up gifting ours to a friend. Now something people should know about this is that assembly requires absolute focuse. You are dealing with sensitive parts so don’t come in thinking it a straightforward build. Just put on some music and TAKE YOUR TIME. Or consider buying a more beginner friendly printer. Also for some people experiencing pla or abs just melting from the nozzle. The issue I found was that a small piece in the fan had unaligned itself and when I opened it up (I followed a YouTube video) and put it back together, it solved my issue completely. Another issue I had and continued to have was that my g codes always made ugly prints but the ones my husband generated on his computer always came out beautiful. He even printed a large smooth round ball and said all his cura settings from a YouTube video he found. I LOVED this printer. We even had to move with this printer and instead of dissembling it we just through it in the back with some pillows and then left it sitting in a storage room (accidelnly posing as a temporary table) and when I set it back up on the desk I was able to get it printing again with some troubleshooting with gcodes and that fan issue I had mention above. All that to say, any issue I found was 98% user error and I would feel like an idiot for not realizing and stressing so long about it. For instance 3 days straight I wondered why only a certain part of my prints were bad and I kept adjusting the leveling - it was just my PC’s housing unit blowing air on it cause I had placed it to close . I just put a light folder to block the air and the user was solved. Anyways I hoped this helped some people out.

Great choice for first printer
I've had this printer for over a year now. I've been using it to print props and such for cosplay. So far I haven't had any issues. As someone who previously had no experience with 3d printing I thought setup and getting started were fairy simple.

Love the T1 MAX, but broke after 1 week of use
I love this T1 MAX, But failed heating bed+board.... I purchased this printer around Christmas time in 2025. The printer came in was easy to assemble and printed incredibly well and very fast. I use it heavily for about a week making all kinds of parts for my house and for my shop. Suddenly prints would fail to Start and the firmware would crash. After some troubleshooting, I discovered that the heating bed was not heating, thus causing the firmware to time out and fail. I could barely get a print to start if I use a heat gun to manually raise the bed temperature to the set temperature in the G-Code from the slicer. Once the thermistor reached the set temperature. It would begin to print but the heat bed itself would not continue heating

Easy to use and assemble.
The FLSUN Q5 is my second 3d printer, but my first Delta printer. It's fun the watch the motion of the extruder when it's printing. Assembly was easy and took less than 15 minutes. It prints well. The textured heated bed holds my PLA prints firmly without needing hairspray/painters tape/glue sticks. Just let it cool down before trying to remove the prints as some people have messed up the glass bed by pulling chucks off it while it was hot and too firmly attached. I have also printed with TPU (flexible) and PETG filament. The auto bed leveling makes leveling the bed much easier then my old 3d printer. It has an 8" circular print bed which is smaller than my old 200x200 square print bed. This hasn't caused an issue for me but make sure what you want to print fits in a 7.5" circle. Vertical height of prints can go up to about 180mm. The printer is quiet but the hotend cooling fan blows a lot of air and is the noisiest part of the printer. I have it sitting on my desk and can still talk to people on the phone while it's printing to overall it's a pretty quiet printer.

Super impressed, Great first printer. Shipped from China, but arrived super fast somehow.
This is my first printer and I'm amazed how my prints are turning out. It also came with all the tools to adjust,assemble/disassemble the entire printer, except for the nozzle itself(it's an m6 socket). It even had a very nice, sharp edged putty knife for removing prints( I note this because I watched a number of reviews before purchasing and many noted the blunt putty knife say you would need to buy one, the fact that they changed to a sharp edged one shows me the manufacturer is listening to feedback, always a good thing.) Assembly was easy, I did check and set all of the belts and wheel tensions (look up videos, don't go too tight or too loose) but honestly it was pretty much fine out of the box I'm just overly cautious and a perfectionist to a fault) I'm using the newest CURA slicer which has a profile for the QQ and QQ-s (both seem to work, online recommends the QQ, I'm using the QQ-s profile though), you just need to change the build plate size to 200x200x200 to match the q5. I did not try the included software with the printer. I've been customizing the settings print by print to get everything perfect. The only real thing I've struggled with is stringing , but I think that may have been the cheap PLA I was using at first as it's pretty much gone with the wood filament I just tried. It wasn't even that bad to begin with. I Highly recommend this if you want an awesome printer that works great out of the box. I've been throwing the toughest prints I can find on thingverse and getting consistently awesome results, while many people in the comments are struggling. The seller is also amazing. This somehow shipped from China and arrived before my online order from within the USA from another large online retailer. I don't remember the exact number of days but I want to say it was less than a week. I got a notification of a delivery and was sure it was my other order from the US, but it ended u being the printer from China! TL:DR Great printer, Great company that listens to feedback, Great seller with magically fast shipping.

Assembled printer in about 45 minutes. Easiest printer I have ever put together. Was able to get leveled on included glass plate in about 10 minutes. Printed the nut and bolt that came with it using provided pla. It broke (the bolt) easily. I assumed it was moisture in PLA provided so I printed again with Elegoo PLA+. Held up well, but also broke with greater force. I printed a couple of other things ok with PLA. A bit of a pain to get PLA off of glass plate. But no issue. I had preordered the removeable PEI plates (installed directly on glass plate in picture (don't forget to relevel)). Worked great for PLA with no issues. I then test printed petg using Orca 2.1.1 Slicer and SR Racer profile, but prints lifted from plate repeatedly. I suspect this is more of an issue with new removable PEI plates then with printer . Using Amazon Gluesticks fixed issue. I moved to removabile plates because of issues with glass plates and petg in past on other printers, not because of this printer per say! It works awesome, is awesome to watch. Using Bambu Petg profile for all, I have printed with Elegoo Rapid Petg, Creality Petg and Bambu Petg, all worked really well with plates (bed temperature at 80c). Biggest issue is that you need to back off off the z-offset a TINY bit because if you are too close to the bed (right distance for PLA), with petg as the print grows (tall), the printhead will make contact with the print and knock it over if it's just a little too close at beginning of print! Also there are occassional minor barely noticeable layer shifts, but I'm still tuning so I expect adjusting the belts should resolve it, and for most people unless you are looking really closely, you aren't going to notice it until you spent enough time with it to care! For the sale price under 300 canadian!!, it's a fun printer to play with and watch!

Honestly, I've used all the high end printers at my school and this works better. DON'T FORGET TO PUT THE SD CARD IN YOUR COMPUTER AND FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. If you try to print without doing what it says - transfer files from SD, reformat and put ONLY what you will print back on, etc... (read and watch the files on the SD CARD) - IT will not work. Prints easy, fast and clean.
