Delicious!
This rice has converted my rice-averse husband. Its flavor exceeds that of other brands in the supermarket and this brand has a superior flavor to other brands of Carolina Gold— I think the heavy plastic bag prevents the grains from excessive dehydration. My taste buds and those of DH say thus is more than worth the extra cost. Marsh Hen Mill also offers excellent and extraordinary grits.

Gold isn't always Gold...
Good taste but I expected the rich Yello color seen in the 'Rotten' segment...

Richness in Rice
Fine heritage rice- my favorite for paella, gumbo. Mellow buttery & mild.

Good stuff
Good taste. Like that it's not processed so much. Keep refrigerated. Dan Buettner, author of "The Blue Zones" says this will help you live to 100. Probably too late for me. Little expensive but think it's worth it.

Tasty!
This is excellent rice. Carolina Gold Rice is an heirloom product grown in a particular part of the Carolinas the way to was hundreds of years ago. There's a rich history behind this product from its import origins to the people who grew it to how the seed was preserved and is grown today. This rice has a rich nutty flavor. It hasn't had all the flavor processed out of it the way super market rice has. It's rice with the flavor your ancestors enjoyed.

no cooking instructions found on bag, requested from Marsh Hill Hen and did received, even following instructions , this rice tended to be more gummy . much prefer long grain from Bakers rice ,from La.

Scrummy!
My old favorite basmati just doesn't taste as good now. I love the flavor and bite of this rice and doubt I could ever go back! So good...
