I love these rainbow curtains. They have little punched out Stars throughout the curtains which create a magical illusion during the daytime, but it's not too bright that it takes away from making a room dark enough for my child to sleep in. The rainbow pattern is very pretty and the lace attached to super cute. We have had these curtains for almost 2 years and they are still doing really well. They still look brand new, the outside of the curtain which faces the window is white so it does not sun damage.

Se ven muy bonitas y de buena calidad, no son completamente Blackout pero cumplen perfecto su función, yo compré un panel más para que no quede tan estirado y tenga pliegues, eso ayuda mucho a tener buena cobertura, vienen tal cual la foto y llegan rápido.

No es blackout pero cumple la función de oscurecer. En el amanecer las estrellas que tiene de diseño permite que entre una luz sutil y hace muy bonita la vista. Anexo foto del amanecer.

I recently purchased two panels of the XiDi rainbow blackout curtains (52 inches wide by 63 inches long [132 cm x 160 cm] per panel) for my child’s room. While they deliver on aesthetics, their functionality as “true blackout curtains” is disappointing. Pros: 1. Perfect Fit: The curtains fit my child’s window perfectly. The size I ordered was accurate, and the two panels together provided adequate coverage. 2. Stunning Design: The vibrant rainbow colours and laser-cut star design create a magical atmosphere. The star cutouts cast a whimsical starry effect when light passes through, which my child absolutely loves. 3. Easy Installation: The curtains were easy to install with their sturdy hard-plastic grommets that fit standard rods. 4. Soft Materials: The polyester fabric is soft and feels of reasonable quality. Cons: 1. Not True Blackout: While the product claims 88% light reduction, I’d estimate it to be closer to 75% at best. Light visibly penetrates the fabric and the star cutouts, even with additional Venetian blinds installed. For rooms without extra layers of window treatments, this may not meet expectations as blackout curtains. 2. One Panel Per Purchase: A major downside is that only one panel is included per purchase, which is not clearly stated in the product description. I had to order two panels to properly cover my window after seeing similar concerns in other reviews. Buyers should be aware of this to avoid disappointment. 3. Unclear Extras: The package included three sheer strips, three small safety pins, and a ~70 cm tasselled rope with no explanation or instructions for their use. While the sheer ties were shown in one product image, there was no mention of the other components in the description. 4. Limited Insulation: While the energy-saving claim may be reasonable in the context of reducing heat transfer, such as when using air conditioning, I have not yet observed any significant impact. Over time, these curtains might help reduce the need for cooling or heating, but the immediate effect is minimal. Durability and Build Quality: The blackout layer feels thin compared to other blackout curtains, but the materials seem reasonably durable. There were no loose threads or noticeable defects upon unboxing. Aesthetic Appeal: These curtains are undeniably beautiful. The sheer layer is purely decorative but adds an elegant touch, and the laser-cut stars enhance the playful design, making them ideal for a child’s room. Overall Impression: If you’re buying these curtains for their aesthetic appeal or for evening use when complete darkness isn’t required, they are a charming addition to a child’s room. However, if you’re looking for true blackout functionality, especially for daytime naps, these curtains are not suitable.
