Doublebase Flare Relief Emollient for the Treatment and Relief of Dry Skin Conditions Such as Eczema, Psoriasis and Dermatitis, 100g Tube

Just like the photos in the listing, my hands were red, dry and cracked. No matter what I used my skin would not take in the moisturiser. I was recommended this brand by a pharmacist. He told me to buy a small tube before committing to the big one. To be honest I do not know what the difference is between the flare relief and the dry skin version. This Doublebase product is non greasy easily absorbs into the skin. I like that it does not have steroids. Is SLS, paraben free. It instantly reliefs the dryness of my skin and has made it look smooth.

good for mild ezcema. i use it on my hands and back of knees when they start to flare up and it calms them down. i have this on my nightstand and one in my handbag at all times. it does subside the itching too. i used on a bad flare up and it really hurt- so probably best for just mild flare ups.

*Update* Unfortunately this cream has now stopped working for me. Undiagnosed skin problems that the Dr’s say ‘look like eczema’ but did not investigate further. The steroid cream they prescribed made it worse but this is helping the issue. Hasn’t taken it away but controlled the itch/soreness. Has a rather strange smell though that permeates through clothing

Fantastic really work on my excema skin, but you do need to apply quite regularly.

I've been having dry painful skin on my neck and around my eyes and decided to try this product. It stings on application, which is normal for most products when applied on these dry areas. It does help with the itching, however the skin is just as dry and unpleasant the next day. The product itself has no smell but is extremely greasy. After finishing application, it looks and feels like i just applied oil to my skin. I think mineral oil would do the same thing and it seems to be one of the main ingredients in this product.
