Smith & Nephew CICA-Care Self-Adhesive Silicone Gel Sheet for Scar Management, Wound Care Product, 5 Inches by 6 Inches

Have used these silicon strips multiple times with good results/faded scars. Many of the other brands offer different sizes but the sheets are easy to cut to the desired size to cover your scar.

It's a miraculous product! I am genuinely amazed at how well this product works. After reconstructive surgery from accident, I was facing unsightly raised scar. This product was recommended by my PT group and it did not disappoint.

Little bit thinner than expected but still helpful

Work great healing scars. I have to wear ace bandage to keep mine in ce use it’s a large scar on my hand.

Seems to work OK. I am happy with the material. It helped me cure redness from an operation I had months ago.

I cleaned my skin thoroughly before applying the CICA-CARE sheet, but it keeps falling off shortly after. The adhesive doesn’t seem strong enough, even when the area is completely dry and free of any oil or lotion. It’s very frustrating, especially since this product is supposed to stay on for hours. I hope the company can improve the stickiness or provide tips for better adhesion.

I had used this product previously but it was from a different vendor and packaged differently. The first product worked very well. I used it on double knee replacement scars and used the previous product for approx. 5 weeks before it needed to be replaced. I wore it pretty much 24 hrs. per day. I ordered this product 4/3/17. It was packaged more securely but to my surprise that did not do anything for the product. After I opened it and while applying it to my scar, it had laser cuts throughout the entire product. Of course that lead to tears which stretched and the product finally fell apart in a few days. The package was not opened so I assume these cuts occurred at Smith & Nephew, the manufacturer. This was the manufacturer of the first sheet I had bought so I credit this problem to poor quality control. This is a costly mistake (approx. $40) and is one you can't see until you open it which makes it non refundable!

I've only been using for about a week but have been very happy so far. It's easy to cut to size and apply the product. It washes up well and I've had no problems with it maintaining its stickiness. I have already noticed my scar seems to be flatter than when the stitches were first removed.

Works like it should

This brand of silicone sheet is the best on the market. I've use lots of other brands. It is soft and pliable compared to other brands. It should be washed with soap before each use to get the maximum number of uses out of it.

For scar surgery. The wound did not become reddish because of this gel.
