Happy Pants Story
I was pleased with these pants when I took them out of the bag and more pleased when I tried them on. They're extremely soft and comfortable. I got them to wear when I'm working around the house, so I don't care if they lose color or pill (too much), as inexpensive pants seem to do. They may be a little heavy for summer wear if you plan to wear them outside, but in air conditioning, I don't think it will be a problem. The pockets are a real plus. One curious thing about them is the waistband. It's very heavy and thick and it took forever to machine-dry. The directions specify low dryer heat, but after setting the machine on two different low settings and still finding a lot of dampness, I resorted to a 20-minute medium-low cycle, followed by yet another one! I'll probably hang them to dry after one medium-low drying session after this, but I was in a hurry to see how much they shrank so I could hem them if needed; my old house pants are literally threadbare.I also discovered just today that the pants are bulky enough that they may make your tops fit on the skimpy side if you don't tuck them in, and how many of us plus sizes do that. I planned to do some cleaning today but wanted to run to the Dairy Queen first so put on a decent but long top over the pants. The top was snug! I was nearly in a panic and assumed I'd gained weight. Then I thought maybe the thick waistband and fabric were causing the problem. Sure enough, once I changed pants, all was well with my world, but it may be something to consider if you plan to wear them when going out.I wear 14 Women's Petite pants from Talbot's, but the Woman Within size chart gave the waist measurement for a 14 Women's Petite as 32"-33.5" and the hips as 40.5"-42." My waist measures 40" and hips are 42" inches (yes, I'm a block). Going by the WW chart, I'd have needed a Large, but after reading other reviewers' comments about overly large legs, "clown pants," etc., I took a chance on the waist discrepancy and ordered a Medium. After I held them up to look at them, I expected that I really would have a problem with the waist and have to send them back, but it was very comfortable and the legs were just right. As the day went on, I half-expected to see deep red marks around my waist when I took the pants off, even though I was never aware of any tightness (with a bad back as the test), but the skin color was no different than the rest of me. Best of all is that the crotch is a true Petite, hits just right. I did need to shorten the pants a little, even after washing and machine-drying. I'm about 5'1".Overall, except for the very thick waistband, I'm very happy with the pants.

Comfortable, but crotch hangs low
Woman within sizes run very big. I always order 2 sizes smaller than normal. These fit pretty well, but the crotch hangs low. The pants are stretchy, the seams hold up well.

Fits good but . . .
These pants are great, but they are short! I’m about 5 foot seven and these are made for someone 5 foot two. They could make a little longer and more people would enjoy them.

Horrible shrinkage!!
I'm 5'5, 218 lbs, ordered Large plus, regular length: Wore once, washed once in cold water with other dark colors, these "slacks" are now unusable capris! They shrank 3 inches!!! This company will not accept returns without the tag, and of course, they place the tag at the lower back seam so you can't wear them and try them out with that tag showing, hanging down your back side. DO NOT BUY THIS BRAND! Shame on Amazon for allowing this company to push a terrible product!!! I bought these for work as part of their dress code: black slacks! I read the reviews but thought I would take a chance, trust and believe, I won't do that again and waste my hard-earned money. Correction: I just noticed something, they sent the WRONG size: ordered L Plus, regular length, received L Plus, "petite"; their mistake so I'm going to try and get this exchanged! Fingers crossed!

size chart is way off, but keep in mind these are plus sizes.
I have been buying from them for many years and it doesn't matter what pants I order they always come in different material and one pair is always bigger or smaller. This time I get two different materials and to no fault of my own dummy me accidently ordered two of same color but still in all why are they two different materials right? I have always hated how they are way too high(above belly button) but that I deal with because I do not really have a waist because of many surgeries and big belly, which now hangs because of another surgery(hysterectomy),so it does help hide it a little. I am just going to keep both brown pairs and order the grey. I know I am complaining but in the long run they are so comfortable. I order a large tall 18/20 but chart says I should order a 5X, if you are really big woman with really big legs then get the bigger size but otherwise be careful because they run "HUGE". Hold on... just tried them both on and one of the pairs legs are wider than the other pair, now i am upset,I mean come on!! Okay so it is hit or miss with these pants when it comes to size. Honestly I believe they sew in the tags when they get the order and not only that whoever they got sewing them together are not measuring and cutting right. Sadly I will keep ordering them because it is hard for me to find pants to fit right and they really don't make it much easier.

good color and material
Well made, good color and material, hassle to return as I have no printer for return label plus cost me quite a bit to return by priority mail, not worth it for me.
