After some blood work indicated that I may have a B vitamin deficiency, I was on the lookout for a B complex that didn’t have the form of B6 that often makes people with Interstitial Cystitis flare. This supplement is the converted form of B6, and thankfully it does not make me flare. So with my Desert Harvest B Complex without added B6, and this, I am now getting all the B vitamins I’ve struggled to get in my diet for so long. I hope it will reflect well in my blood work, but we will have to see about that.

I started having trigger finger issues: I couldn't make a tight fist with my right hand and when I tried, one or more fingers would get stuck and I would have to pull them straight. Also, it would hurt if I put sideways tension on the joints. Very frustrating. I read about using P5P as a remedy. Didn't really think it would do much good but it's pretty cheap and didn't seem to have any side effects to worry about. So I ordered this brand. As I said, I didn't expect much so I didn't take it religiously. It was supposed to take several weeks to months to show any effect. I think I started having less problems within just a few weeks. But I still didn't necessarily attribute improvement to this supplement. I started the therapy in October of last year. I then went vegan in January of this year. I expected that to have more impact on the problem so I took the P5P even more sporadically. The issue would come back and I would be more diligent about taking the P5P and the symptoms would get better. But then I would quit taking it. Just this last week I noticed my middle finger being difficult to bend and it got stuck again. I took the P5P and a few days later I can make a fist with no sticking and no pain when pulling on my fingers sideways. Because of that I would have to say that the supplement is helping. I would recommend it as something to try if you are having trigger finger issues. Definitely try it before submitting to a surgical solution. And this is very economical for me. It's been 10 months since I bought this bottle and I still have more than half the bottle left.
