I absolutely love this costume!!! fits me perfectly! I got a size medium 8-10..I'm 5'1 and weigh 130lbs. Love it!!

Wasn't sure about this one based on the picture, but it was such a great price and had so many wonderful reviews that I decided to give it a shot. There's something about it that looks more 'gyspy' than pirate. I can see Stevie Nicks wearing this! :)Anyway, I'm, 5'2, 132 lbs and typically wear a 6-8 (small-medium) in clothing. I ordered a small based on the reviews and it fit pretty well. I'm not small chested and wear a 34 DD but I still feel like it was a little loose around the chest, ribcage and waist areas. This dress just slips on which makes it easier than dealing with a zipper, but I feel the cut is a little more boxy as a result. I guess I could have exchanged for an XS, but I think it would have been too small for me.The only gripe I have is that it really needs a thicker, more substantial ribbon on the corset. You could easily replace this yourself.All in all it is a great costume for the price. It was comfortable and the materials were nice. I think it looks better in person than in the photo. I ended up returning it, but only because I found another costume that I liked a little better.

I was pleasantly surprised by this costume. It didn't look nearly as cheap as a lot of costumes and in fact was actually pretty cute! It also had decent coverage while still being sassy! Because of all of the jewelry in the picture I did, however, miss the fact that it is completely off the shoulder. And I got myself a decent set of knockers that really need a bra with straps so that gave me a bit of pause. But I ended up just using the provided "head scarf" to make two straps that I safety pinned on. It worked great and since the fabric is the same as the dress no one could really tell. Just thought I would throw that out there should anyone else have a similar problem. ;)All in all, I was quite pleased with it. And my 3-year old said I looked pretty so what more can you ask for?

I ordered this Pirate outfit for a company party we are going to in May. I also ordered another pirate outfit as I couldn't decide between the two. I have decided to keep the other outfit and return this one but mainly because the other outfit matches the outfit I bought for my husband. However, this costume is very nice, much nicer than I expected! It is a one piece dress and very pretty. The blouse part covering the shoulders and arms is see through lace and can be worn on the shoulder or pulled down on the arms. If you were to wear a bra with it the straps would show but white straps may not be as obvious. I typically wear a size 12 so I ordered the large and it fits well. The length is appropriate and not too short. The material is thin but for a costume, I think it is good quality. The bodice is made with a velvet type of material.This is a very cute costume and would look very nice with sexy boots. I feel it is very good quality for the price. I think you will be happy with this purchase!

I was very comfortable in this dress.... the only thing is it is kinda short so if you are going to be out and about you might want to put a pair of shorts on underneath it in case the wind blows. Everyone will get a show. I also laced it the other way because I did not like the way the bow looked and how it sat. The head band is really nice as well.

Amazing!! It fit me perfectly and the shipping was really fast! I was supposed to get it after a week it arrived only after 3 days.I'd give it 5 stars but I had some issues with the sewing of the dress but overall awesome costume

Great purchase for the price. Probably a little better quality than most halloween costumes. While it may have fit somewhat large it wasn't too large and I was fine with it. I bought this for pirate night for a Disney cruise and it worked perfectly. I added gold jewelry/chains to complete the look along with my own brown tall boots. Mine didn't have heels but still looked really cute. I've kept it and it's stored well. I used it again on halloween last year and got lots of compliments.

This is even better in person. Very well made. Soft inside instead of stiff or itchy from the lace. Velvet skirt and sexy soft lace. Perfect length to have fun in without worry about it climbing upand showing more than you want to. I'm very happy with this costume. I would have went down a size but I'm keeping the med due to my party in a few days.
