The quality of these RAM sticks are incredible. They're a little heavy & beafy, the brushed aluminium looks amazing, the build quality is top-notch, the RGB lights are super vibrant, and the Aura software is quite refined too now. In terms of raw performance, they're great, but not superior to other slightly cheaper non-RGB RAM. Consider these only if you care about aesthetics and RGB is important to you. And I personally do care about aesthetics, so I'm really happy with my purchase. The packaging was really good, it came with a "FRAGILE" label on it, took me a while to get to the real product. And it was delivered to me 4 days earlier than the estimated date. The seller I bought it from is Blue_Horse, they weren't the cheapest sellers of this product, but they were the only Prime supported seller when I was ordering. Notes 1. The white light diffuser/bar with G.Skill logo is loose and it makes a rattling noise if you jerk it. I thought it was broken, but it's not. Maybe a manufacturing defect or it is just how G.Skill intended it to be because all the TridentZ RGB I have seen so far have the light bar loose. 2. Make sure you enable the XMP profile from the BIOS or UEFI menu to achieve the mentioned 3200 MHz. 3. The RGB lights on these RAM sticks can be controlled using G.Skill's software (which I didn't use) and it works with any motherboard or you can control them using Asus Aura which is only available for Asus motherboards and it'll let you sync RGB across the board and even other Aura Sync supported components, but not all the Asus motherboards support it, so buy accordingly, look for the Aura Sync logo on products if you're considering. A good ram looks wise would enhance ur build with sweet sweet RGB and will give u 1000fps boost ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) in games When my computer sleeps the RGB ram also acts a night lamp which is an added bonus Performance is very nice Haven't tried OC but running at mentioned speeds with XMP profile u can check compatibility at gskill's site U also get gskill sticker for free :-)

The deal was good with Amazon when I got it, if the price increased after that then I would not recommend it as the price of the RAM when I got it was around 10k for 2 sticks of 8 GB CL16 memory. Good lighting affected. Memory for Ryzen CPUs seems just fine with this brand.

Best in the market for a reason. Some entry level "gaming" motherboards are a kind of a nuisance gettingu the module to perform to its ability (3200MHz @ 1.35V), but that's on the mobo and the BIOS. Make sure you have XMP enabled or you can manually set the clocks on the memory from BIOS - unless you want this monster to run at 2133MHz, that is. I was using a 16GB CL17 2400MHz module before. The performance difference is noticeable. For me, the RGB is bonus that adds some moxie to this beast. All in all, now I can see why this DIMM comes so highly recommended from most PC enthusiasts. Game on!

Look is very good and heavy in weight that why it's built quality is also good. I didn't get a chance to operate it because for building new PC ai have to wait until all goods reach me.and one more thing they gave a sticker to stick on pc Cabinet

Strong and sturdy build quality, really good RGB effects, can be controlled by Mystic light and RGB fusion softwares both. Supports xmp profiles enable it in Bios to get the full potential of this ram.

Seller, Amazon & product - all there have done a wonderful job. Changed the mode to XMP on bios and the RAM is doing its job as expected running at full clock frequency 3200mhz. As of now it’s been a week since the purchase and it’s doing a flawless job.

I was looking for a 16gb kit for a memory upgrade and the RGB version was on sale to match the plain version I was originally looking at so why not? Personally, I think that the GSkill RGB kits have the nicest aesthetic and the whole thing is paired with good RBG software to customize it. In terms of performance, it's RAM. 3200mhz with a few XMP profiles in bios that you can kind of set and forget so install and setup was a piece of cake. No issues. Just try to get it on discount or buy the plain version if you don't care about RGB because there is a slight price premium for the colours.

I wanted to upgrade my PC from 2x8 GB to 4x8GB memory. I was a little bit worried that it won't work since my older ram was rated at 2400MHz but there were no issues. I did have to clear the CMOS in order for the PC to boot but that was it. Once in BIOS I used one of the MSI Try It! memory presets and it booted at 3200MHz no problem. While doing some simple tests, a few games and cinebench I didn't see any difference. However I do a lot of video editing and I had a project that I rendered a few times with my old 16gb memory and I wanted to retest it with 32gb. Well the 32gb needed 25minutes to render and the 16gb needed just 20 minutes. That's 25% increase in render time for a simple project that didn't have any special effects or color grading. Time is precious to me so 25% increase in render time is not what I need. I do like the g.skill software for controlling the ram led, though I do wish some of the presets would allow you to change the color. Oh this new ram also has a temperature sensor on it, that's somethign I didn't know is a thing. Bottom line, don't use 4 sticks of ram with older ryzen cpus (I have 2600), because the memory controller can't handle 4 sticks like you would expect. This might be different if you have a ryzen 3000 or 5000 series desktop cpu. So the sticks went back and now I'll search for 2x16GB sticks to get the full benefit of clocks and ram capacity by using just 2 slots for my 'old' Ryzen PC.

Ho sempre avuto memorie ram "tamarre" sia Led che RGB ma ho sempre dovuto optare per buone prestazioni e scarsa illuminazione o bellissima illuminazione con poche prestazioni. Con le G.Skill Trident Z RGB che sto recensendo ho finalmente trovato memorie Ram davvero performanti con illuminazione RGB senza paragoni. Io ho acquistato (settembre 2018) 4 x 8 (32gb) DDR4 da 3200Mhz che sul mercato erano tra le più prestazionali a 320 euro mentre oggi si è in grado di spendere la metà per un prodotto davvero top di gamma. Sono ottime e velocissime memorie ram e che se affiancate come le mie a 32gb di Intel Optane Memory fanno un lavoro davvero eccezionale. Per quanto attiene a luminosità e gioco di luce (RGB), il mercato attualmente non offre nulla a questi prezzi visto che sono "full RGB". Per raggiungere le prestazioni massime vanno settate da bios (che non è operazione per chiunque) ma anche la frequenza/velocità standard del DDR4 non è cosa da poco. Associate ad una scheda madre dedicata all'OC, ad un processore da OC (il mio è un i7 8700k) e memorie Intel Optane Memory sono in grado di dare ottimi risultati e nell'insieme prestazioni di alto livello (più di marche maggiormente blasonate e "spinte"). E' possibile scaricare gratuitamente online dal sito della casa produttrice il software (facile e intuitivo oltre che in italiano) per la gestione della luminosità e giochi di colore che, come da video, vi da la possibilità di personalizzare e giocare con migliaia di soluzioni sugli effetti RGB.

These things look quite nice, as you might expect, with a reasonably high RGB LED density under the light diffuser, two-tone heat spreaders and pleasing design. The memory itself is also high perfoamance, running at 3200MHZ with tight latency timings. Note that you will have to go in to your motherboard settings and manually set up the memory speed, either directly or through the XMP profile. Please note, however, that I run a Ryzen system - I wasn't aware of this before I made this purchase and had to do a lot of troubleshooting, but Ryzen systems (particularly 1st gen) do not play nice with high speed memory. After much tweaking and overvolting, mine runs stable but only at 3066Mhz. I am not factoring this in to my review score, as this was a lack of research and user error on my part - but if you are buying this for a Ryzen system, consider saving money and buying the 3000Mhz kit instead. Most ryzen systems flake out above a memory frequency of 2988Mhz or so, so buying a 3200Mhz set of memory is likely to not work properly at its rated speeds unless they are made specifically for Ryzen - which these are not. The silicon lottery does factor in to this, so you might be able to get high speed memory to work fine for you, but I could not.
