This is OK device. There are tons of features. Please read the manual. I am only jotting down my observations. Pros: 1.Gives result in less than 10 seconds 2. Easy to use. 3. Stores result with date and time in memory. Need to check how long it does. 4. Gives daily and weekly average. 5. Display is visible even in the brightest light. 6. Elders with eye sight issue can also read it. It gives number in big bold font Cons: 1. 15% error. Add 15% to the results. Blood test at lab gives you accurate results. I am comparing based on that. it showed 78. It was 86. PPBS it showed 118 which was 136. adding 15% to fasting gives 3-4mg/dL extra. But gives accurate result with PPBS. This could matter a lot when you are between borderline of pre-diabetic and diabetic. So, think before buying. 2. Pouch given with it is of very low quality plasticky thin material. It will tear off pretty soon. Others like one-touch provides sturdy plastic box. 3. Only 5 lancets for 25 strips is given. You may have to buy additional lancets. 4. They have mentioned in description that it can be connected to computer. No cable is provided and there is only a 3.5mm jack on the side. I dont know how it can be connected yet. Figuring it out yet. All in all, this has about 15% error in reading. If you feel you need to test every day, I would say, go for ONE TOUCH. If you are to get tested once in a while, please go to lab.
