Finally, found a dependable yeast. Have made 4 batches of bread so far and all of them worked with this yeast. Just make sure that when you proof the yeast solution, the yeast should be at room temperature and the sugar solution at 45-60 deg.For a perfect yeasty infusion into your dough, take 250ml of warm water (45-60 deg) and add 2Tsp sugar. Dissolve the sugar and add half to 1/3 Tsp(Tea Spoon) of this yeast. Leave it for 10-15 mins and let the organisms play with the sugar. The solution will turn frothy (4/4 so far). Use it to knead a dough of 3 times measure of flour (750ml).When I used all purpose flour, the breads were competitive to the breads you get at the store. Just when you add wheat flour, the yeast effect wasn't that great to keep it soft. But the breads have been good so far. Haven't bought bread for the last 1 month.

Good product but not very good for baking purposes as it has a smell n sour taste. It can be used for fermenting appam, dosa batter...

I have tried and used many other brands of yeast. This is the best amongst all. Most of my bakes are 100 %whole wheat yet it works like a charm. Although it's instant, I prefer proofing before adding it to flour.The baked bread is light fluffy and awesome in taste. No yeasty smell at all.Was loving this yeast untill my latest order where they delivered a non-vegetarian version with a red Dot on the pack.

I made the pizza dough twice using this yeast and it was the only reason that the dish couldn't be made properly. The dough doesn't rise at all. Save your time and go for another brand.

Finally after lot of experimentation and research, got this wonderful yeast product. We have tried mainly wheat bread with this and the end result is amazing. The smell is too good to resist. None of the other brands have given this satisfaction. The dough also gets to the perfect size after keeping it aside for an hour. We have stopped buying bread from outside and have started preparing healthy wheat beard at home using this product. Thanks amazon for providing such unique products which are not readily available in the market

I don't know why but it didnot work nicely. Very small amount of fermentation

My parcel came today.And now i am making pizza dough with it. Being a frequent baker i can say that this yeast is GOOD better than the store brought yeats.
