LEGO TECHNIC 42010 Off-Road Racer

My son put this set together in a record time! Easy to assembly and runs very well. Actually, needs to be improved for front crashes, as runs quite quick. After a few days of play we broke the front axels by crash. We had a spare from other set, but you want to be careful or build a better fence in the front. Great set. We are looking forward to build the dragster advertised in the back of the box, as we already have the complementary set. More fun in the way!!!

Great kit and toy. Our 6 year old could manage building the kit with some help. Slightly more difficult than a regular LEGO kit as there are some tricky bits with specific orientations. Instructions are clear and easy to follow. Took about 30 minutes.And at the end, we had a cool toy to race with other pull-back toys and to jump over things. More versatile than the race car kit due to the larger tires and higher clearance.Only unfortunate bit is that it is not compatible with the powered technics pieces, so it cannot be made to be fully remote controlled.

This was a Christmas gift for our almost-six year old son who loves the Creator sets and cars. He built it with a little help from his dad on Christmas day and the rebuilt it into the dragster the following day. He loves his Technics. He's raced them creating tracks with pillows and magazines and they stay together. If a part does fall off he just puts it back on and is back to racing in seconds. He received 4 of these easy build technic sets and he built all 6 cars and now he's inventing his own. It's a great set !

Great first Lego set for a 6 yr boy. We bought this for our nephew and he likes to follow the instructions to build the car. Since these kits come with real instructions, he feels it's more of a "big boy" Lego toy vs the bulk Lego bricks. Plus, you can play with the buggy after it's built.

Good for older kids ready to build more challenging pieces. Great fun. I wish Lego sets cost less. They seem to be about 15% more money than they are worth for the time it takes to build them.

OH MY GOODNESS!! 2 grandsons & 2 rave reviews. Add a Lego car & 1 dad spent a great time going online for instructions to combine the 2 sets & wow. Off-road n roadster pics are fabulous. I think a birthday roadster for grandson #1 to match his cousins & the Dads (even if in diff states---- construction shall begin!!

This is a challenging toy for young boys who like to play with Lego. Lego brand is a liable brand as compared to similar products. Incase certain parts is missing,it is able to get replacement easily.

A little simple, but my son enjoys it. It didn't take him long to build (he's 10), but he enjoys playing with it.
