Works great!
I needed a bead roller for doing floor pans in street rods and hotrods. This works fantastic. Although now i can see ill want one with a deeper throat to do larger pieces. But for the price and doin small panels or patches it cant be beat. Great deal!

It did the job
Not a bad unit. I used this to roll beads into 18 GA steel and it did it no problem. I did go over a few spots just to get a good crisp bead but it's not necessary. I didn't give 5 stars because the two main arms separate a bit during use. They don't so much bend away from the material being worked with; they displace parallel to the working material. I used a huge C clamp to prevent this, other people weld in supports (I prob will too). Also, the one sided crank makes for jerky operation so I affixed an old BMX rim to the handle for smoother operation.

Fine considering it's the cheapest option out there. Expect to modify it to get it to perform.
It's not a bad start for bead rolling and flanging. It works fine with 20, 22 gauge, 18 gauge is pushing it but it will do the job as advertised. It's difficult to control with one hand cranking and the other hand guiding the work piece. I would plan to modify it if you buy it, or save time and buy a more expensive one that needs nothing.* First mod, polish the dies. They are rough turned and will transfer all of their rough edges and marks to the steel. This is not pretty. I'm chucking them in a lathe and cleaning them up with a file and emery cloth. They should be close to mirror finished.* The various bolts are not great. Replace some of the bolts with a higher grade and add lock washers. I noticed the single bolts holding the bushings on the rods want to walk out. It would be better if these were more expensive pillow block bearings like the more expensive machines have.* Either replace the crank with a large diameter hand wheel (like 20"+ inches), or hook up a reduction-gear motor to turn the crank for you.* This frame is flat. It needs additional T structure on the top and bottom. Add a top and bottom plate to stiffen the jaws. This will also make a convenient place to store the dies and tools.* Add a handwheel and a spring to adjust the top die bushing. The provided box end screw adjuster is lame. So, with some additional work it can be a good bead roller. It's just not out of the box.

Love it, stay within its limits and you won't have any problems.
Works great but you've got to have steady hands. I have used this thing on every thing up to 18 gauge metal. Works best on 20 gauge and thinner. Can't say anything negative about it except that it's very heavy!
