Its beautiful, great image of St. Benedict on the back and great figure of Christ in Gold on the front with the wood creating a nice balance. If you don't want the overly glamorous all medal crosses but you also don't want just plain wood this is the best balance I've found....Just don't pull too hard on the rope and cross for whatever reason. I did that when it was caught in a shirt and broke the connector. I eventually fixed it manually but had already ordered this same one again so I have two. Its still good quality and that incident is not a poor reflection on the product. I just want you to treat your crucifix with care. God bless.

Very nice crucifix. I bought it for my grandson, 17y.o. who is going to mass every Sunday with friends. I didn't take it out of its package. But looking at it, it seems to be comfortable around the neck. The crucifix itself looks nice and I think detailed.

good and size and cross-Bought two ,one for me and one for daughter lost both due to very poor quality of attachment clasp.. If you buy replace cheap clasp with quality clasp and chain.

This is a well-built crucifix. The detail of the St. Benedictine medal and the Christ is well-made. The painted lines are not perfect but you can tell this is handmade and that gives it more spirit. We got the smaller 1.6 inch cross and it is just right for a cross to wear daily under clothing. The rope was a little long but I tied it up and cut a section to make it work for me. I hope this beautiful piece lasts a long time. Great value for the price.
