APC SRC2KUXI 1600-Watts UPS

I have been an APC customer for atleast 20 years and have UPS units of different configurations. Last time I have missed renewing annual maintenance contract by a few days for one of my UPS. After renewal UPS developed some problem after a month or so but APC refused to service quoting if there is a break in AMC it is the company's policy to with hold repairs for 45 days quoting customers paying for AMC after getting a problem.Meaning annual maintenance is only 10 and half months and not 1 year effectively. This has not been mentioned prior to receiving AMC and Not in the fine print. If the company has a problem with AMC after problem from some customers company should verify the unit before entering AMC. Instead company is creating problems to genuine customers.I have stopped buying new units from APC and stopped paying AMC for rest of the units.
