This is a high quality food and my cat loves it. It adds much needed moisture to her diet.

I ordered these because Hartz Delectable Stew is currently unavailable, and that would be a crisis for my Ricky! I kept checking every day. No word on availability. SO... I researched and ordered a couple of brands of cat treat/stews. The first one was a major fail. Turns out my cat, at least, does not like coconut milk! With fingers crossed, I opened a pouch of Weruva. I had ordered "1 if by land, 2 if by sea". HUGE hit! Even Lucy, who only cares about these things sometimes, came running. Whew! Crisis averted! I know, I know. They have me trained. I left them on wet food (I top a can of that with this gravy treat) because I was told when they were kittens that cats don't drink water like dogs. So if possible, stay on wet. I also keep Nulo kibble down. Lucy actually does drink more water and eat more kibble, but Ricky insists on his wet food and is rather like Pavlov's dog every time I go into the kitchen. Way to a guy's heart, you know! So grateful to have found this excellent option!!

These pouches are really expensive for the amount of food you get so I wouldn't feed it as a main food source. It is really watery with most of it being gravy with some chunks of meat. Your cat will not be satisfied if this is his only meal. I paid about $1.40 per pouch but the price has increased a lot since I purchased it. I used this as a way to get my cat to take his medication. My cat had to be on an antiviral and he was not happy about me injecting the medication directly into his mouth. Instead, I tried mixing it into this food and that did the trick. He gobbled it all up without any issues. The food has a strong fishy smell which disguised the taste of the medicine. I also use this as a special snack for my kitties every once in awhile (since it is so pricey). They really love it. I especially like giving it to them when it's been hot out so I can ensure that they're hydrated. Overall, its a great quality food with a clean ingredients list and my kitties loved it. I'm just turned off about the price which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. There's too much water and not enough meat for the price they are charging.

My two cats have very different tastes so it’s hard to get the both of them to love one wet cat food. One likes chicken the most, the other salmon. Even still, they usually get bored very easily with most cat foods out there but this has been by far the most loved by both! Even my cat Taco, who has a very sensitive stomach, loves this and gets excited for dinner! I have purchased the wet dog food as well and my dogs love the variety! I have tried others but keep coming back to this!
