### ⭐⭐⭐ Disapointed.

First off seller got it to me fast, so that part was good.Where it gets bad is it was NOT as described or work well. This was sold as "all chrome plated steel", but the one I received was a black paint finish that seems to scratch fairly easily. The next problem is keeping it in place. As others have mentioned it is very tricky to get to stay where you want it in the clamp bracket. I tried using bits of rubber between the metal clamping to grip a bit, but that didn't help. I may just jb-weld the mirror bracket in place.Bsd points aide I don't think its bad enough to just toss away. Large mirror is good for someone like me with bad eyesight, and other than the clamping setup the rest feels VERY solid. Minus one star for not getting the finish I ordered, and one star for that bad clamp design.

Worked like a charm, took all of 5 mins to install ,an extra bit of safety on the road , adjustment was a snap , may order one for the right side , finish is nicely done , ( black ), doesn't get in the way , the price was right for what you get , it's heavy , not a toy type mirror , old school look is what i was looking for , so for me , spot on ,

### ⭐⭐ It DOES reflect light...

I needed a mirror for my omafiets, and this looked retro enough to do the job. The stem is about 7" long and the mirror is a generous 4" but is not curved to get a wider field of view. The mirror is adjustable with a ball-and-socket joint, but you'll probably not need that due to the problems with this mirror.I should mention that this was not a prime shipment and I got the item very quickly from the seller. A point for BicycleSourceUS!So, here's what's wrong with the set up.First of all, this is NOT light. It weighs about a pound. The bolt/post is very beefy and is probably made for an e-bike. Not a deal breaker, for me, but just so you know.Second, the stem is not knurled where you connect it to the post. SO, no matter how much you torque the nut, the mirror swivels and ends up pointing at the ground. I tried clamping the stem in my vise, but the stem is remarkably beefy. You'd need to chuck this thing in a lathe and knurl it.Finally, when you DO have this clamped down, the stem wobbles in the post. The hole is about 1/16" too big and the cup that applies pressure to the stem won't apply that pressure to both sides of the stem, so the thing wobbles. I tried slightly notching the cup and that almost worked, but, as I said, the one side of the cup is in full contact while the other doesn't contact at all. A spring mechanism with knurling could make this set up work. Or a completely different set up altogether.I'm considering epoxying the stem into the post but I'm afraid of permanently affixing this to my bike! We'll see and I'll update my review if that works. Because, after all, it DOES reflect light.So, save up for a different mirror unless you want to re-engineer this one and have the means to do so.
