Why did you pick this product vs others?: After non-stop torrential rains making it nearly impossible to cut my acre property without sinking my Hustler Raptor 54" mower into the mud, I had my work cut out for me. That tractor is about 10 years old now and was still on its original tires. I didn't even notice until the tire started coming off the rim and that familiar feeling of running over something over and over again. Dang, sidewall puncture I thought... I wasn't quite through with the job since it took several passes at multiple heights to get it under control. I shopped around, found these Antego 20x12.0-10's advertised as direct replacements for that mower. I didn't need the confirmation that they were the right fit (I used to work in a tire shop in my younger years), but the price was perfect to replace both sides, as the originals were showing their age and the rubber was getting harder by the season. My only complaint, and I don't think this is Antego's fault in any way, the tread section of both tires were concave and the heat of transport through texas and sitting on my porch in the sun on a hot texas summer day probably contributed to that. It made it a challenge to seat the beads, but being an old tire shop grunt, I had tricks up my sleeve. It was very satisfying when they finally caught enough air to lift the top bead to the rim and immediately the pressure pushed the tread sections back out to normal. During the week and a half between when I punctured the tire and finally mounted the replacements, I already had nearly 3" growth from where I'd left it when I had to stop. It was glorious, especially turning that fun little ZTR around on the pavement of my driveway, to actually have the tires grip and turn instead of the old hard ones skittering over the pavement without catching much traction. I didn't know anything about Antego Tire when I bought these, but after finding them to be a good quality replacement with the exact same turf-friendly tread pattern, I had to learn more about them. They sound great, based in the states in multiple locations across the country and they're US-made. Thanks, y'all. I have some vintage garden tractors that REALLY need new rubber. I'm surely going to buy Antego for those when I get to that point!

Great replacement tires for my zero turn mower. Quality tires, seem thicker than the factory, good all around tread pattern. Would recommend, much cheaper and fast shipping. I paid a tire shop to take my old ones off and install these.

Great tires for my Hustler Raptor 2016 model! Mine had the sidewall cut on one and losing air with a slow leak in another. I decided it was time for some new ones. These were cheaper than the dealer and absolutely just as good. I’ve since taken them across 2 acres of stubs and mud/ rough terrain and never had an issue. Good grip with only a bit of slipping in slick mud. Doesn’t tear turf or grass as long as you’re not doing 360 and 180 degree sharp spins. Will buy again! Update-2024 and I’m finally having to replace them. I’ve beat them to heck mowing cemeteries and jabbing the sidewalls till they finally won’t hold air very long. If I had these and used them like most people do on their personally lawn, they’d still be going. But the nature of my work has finally taken its toll. Replacing them with the same set today! Also, my 2016 Hustler raptor is still putting in work. She’s not my day to day mower but still pulls her weight. For those interested in that.

I purchased these rear tread tires for my Hustler to replace the originals. This tire has a newly revised tread design and was much cheaper than the manufacturer, lawnmower distributor, and other online sources. The new design doesn't tear up the yard like the originals occasionally did.
