My rescue cats are over 12 month old so not used to a harness, the girl took to it strait away as she had been in a harness which I didn't like, she could escape, but this one is brilliant, easier to get on too. My boy cat would not let me put the previous harness on, but seeing his sister in this one he didn't struggle and let me put it on him. will be getting another so I can take them both out together.

We are very happy with the Houdini cat harness. It is the only one that fits well on my cat. My cat can be very dramatic when it comes to wearing harnesses, but this one is approved by her too!

I wish I had video of my kitten getting out of every single “escape proof” harness. First of all, she is 13 weeks and on the small side. So it wasn’t hard for her at all to get out of harnesses. I put this harness on her yesterday and she couldn’t get out of it!! And she actually walked with it on. The others, before she escaped them she just flopped on the floor, probably because they were pretty bulky. This harness allows her to move well and the chest piece fits perfectly under her chin so she can’t get her mouth on it and escape. I was very skeptical because this girl can get out of anything. Not this!! I bought the small and put the straps that go under her legs as small as they would go and it fit perfectly. So she will be able to use this for awhile I think. And when she does grow out of it I will be buying this same one in medium. It wasn’t hard to put on her at all, it’s very safe because once again, she can’t escape. I would recommend testing it out in your home before you go outside for awhile to make 100% sure your kitty can’t get out and run away. And remember, the chest piece is supposed to fit right under their chin, not the chest. I love that the straps are thin so she can move unrestricted and it seems pretty durable! This is by far the best kitten item I have bought!! Now what to do with the three others that DONT work….

For our 10 month old bengal we tried so many different harnesses. After one incident he wiggled out the harness and ran way we turned to internet for help. We love Mia’s channel and want to give this one a try despite the high price tag of $50+ cad. Loved to watch how our kitten tried to run away but failed. Tonight is the night on the 20th day the harness broke off in the dark, if not without his collar light we would have been in serious trouble. Want to leave a neutral review to support Outdoor Bengal but the product needs some serious serious revamp. We may just take the mechanism and remake something ourselves after such disappointment.

ESCAPE PROOF My cat is easily startled when traveling/going outside the house, especially because he's skinny, it was easy for him to escape anything. He would escape his previous harness and hide. After trying this harness, he truly CANNOT ESCAPE!! I startled him inside the house to test it, and he couldn't escape no matter how hard he tried. Absolutely love it, thank you for making such one of a kind harness 💖💖.

This is my second Houdini harness, they're great. I've never had my kitties slip them. I recently got a new Bengal kitten, and wanted to harness train him, so I got the small harness. Comparing the large and small harnesses, the straps are the SAME length, the only difference is the size of the chest piece. This is a massive design flaw imo, my Bengal can't take a step without getting the obnoxiously long strap caught under his feet. NOT good for harness training. If the seller is reading this, I highly recommend an alteration of the smaller harness, perhaps even the medium and large. My other kitty is a big boy and there is still plenty of strap to get it over his head. The strap is pointless and annoying, and my kitties agree!
